I felt that portable keyboards can only be serving with a poor typing experience and product sizes, which enhance the definition of the term ‘portable’. Then, I tried Razor Zoro.

A pleasant keyboard to type
Razor Zoro is first advertised and first advertised as a portable gaming keyboard-that is, due to its ultra-inges, touch switches that work faster than most competitions in the market. This is not just a puffed-up claim, either, because Zoro is much more reactive than any other portable keyboard, which I tried. But for me, it was not enough how good gaming experience is the keyboard experience. It was about how good it was to type.
I work on a desk all day, and if I want to play PC games then I will be ahead of 9 to 5. Sometimes, I don’t just want to stay on my desk, and I would like to lie down on the bed or sit on my couch and work there instead writing there. While I have a laptop, it is a heavy gaming laptop to type a pain (metaphor and literally). My solution is to take my iPad, open a word processor and work in that way.
For example, I already have a portable keyboard- Logitech k480A cheap yet recommended option for those looking for a solution to type efficiently on your phone or tablet. But if you are used for mechanical keyboard, it feels bad to type the K480. The keys provide a lot of resistance and are simply unpleasant to type. It is also strangely heavy, taking more space in a bag that I care for something to be portable.
In short, I could feel that I only spent $ 50 on K480. Razor Zoro is available at a premium price of $ 140, but the quality increases is worth it.
Small does not mean worse
The first thing you notice about Razor Zoro is its size. The company is not lying about its “ultra-compact”, and the razor uses you everywhere to give you a 75% keyboard with standard size key. Compared to my Loditech K480, Zoro was very small, making it more portable.
Better portability is already great, but it becomes even better when you type on it. Razor’s portable keyboard actually looks like a mini-mechanical keyboard under my fingers. Typing on Zoro is smooth, and the key offers the right amount of resistance. Despite the short activation points to be a large feature for the keys, the switches are not so sensitive that the keyboard will register the press if your hand hover over the key.
Backlight is also welcome. When you can customize the light from all kinds of methods in the Razor Croma App, I was primarily grateful that the cacaps had shine-utter lettering, making it easier to use in low-light settings. Even in maximum settings, LEDs are not very bright, so you will not blind the people nearby by maintaining the light.
Finally, while it may not look as clakes as my full -size keyboard, quiet keys are very welcome in a portable keyboard, where there is a good chance that you will publicly out. Not everyone enjoys the noise of mechanical keyboard, after all.
While the razor zoro can be in a more expensive side, if you plan to use a portable keyboard for any length, it is worth every money. It works innocent with my iPad, my phone and even my PC. It is rare to see a portable keyboard that looks good for this use, it is a great additional for your secondary arsenal.
