Adobe Premiere Pro long has been our favorite non-reeler video editor, distributing a professional-grade workflow, and all tools have been packed with the requirement of editors, whether you are working on feature-length films or videos for your YouTube channel.
Since we had last reviewed the software, Pro has a group of updates, including a new AI tools such as generic extends. But can it still claim to be the best video editing software? We took a look at the latest version to find out.
Adobe Premier Pro: Pricing and Plans

- Certainly there is not the cheapest membership from there, but this is the price you pay for the market leader, and a 7-day free test.
What can be one of the biggest obstacles of software, its cost is: You cannot buy a permanent license from Adobe, you have to take membership of software instead. This provides you with rolling updates and access to features, but stops payment and you lose access to the software – until you start subscribing again.
There are two ways to subscribe to Premier Pro: the cheapest is to get software on a standalone membership, for $ 23 per month on an annual contract, $ 35 for a month-by-month membership, or $ 264 per year advance.
You can also get software as part of the Creative Cloud All Apps Plan, which bundles more than twenty different apps, including Photoshop and after effects. This option costs $ 60 per month on the monthly plan of the annual bill, $ 90 for monthly membership, or $ 660 per year in advance.
If you use three or more mainline adobe apps, the creative cloud option will work cheaper than the standalone subscription.

Adobe Premier Pro: Interface

- A well-designed interface with strong call-backs for other software in Adobe’s portfolio, also provides you the ability to fully customize it to suit your accurate needs.
One of the advantages of using Adobe software is that the interface feels familiar because you move from the app to the app. If you use the choice of after effects or auditions, you would have a good idea how to navigate the Premier Pro. Saying that, a video editor is quite different for VFX software, or an audio editor, so Pro has its own quirks and coiries.
Adobe is very aware that its high-end software is complex animals, and, keeping this in mind, provides a wide ‘Learn’ section within the interface. This helps you familiarize yourself with newly introduced features, or simply familiarize yourself with land laying.
When you get a premiere Pro for the first time, you have to download creative cloud software, as all software are managed from there – and with help, it will take you to the ‘Discover’ page. This is a great way to understand and know about the software, while your computer sets Pro in the background.
The default pro interface is very clean and simple: you have two audiences at the top, the right one previews your edited sequence, while the left displays a clip on the left that you have chosen from the media pool. The lower left is a list of the clips imported by you, and the lower right timeline where you assemble your editing. On the right is your relevant inspector sidebar.
However, Adobe offers huge adaptation capacity options: you can move the squares around, separate them from the main interface and leave them as a floating window, or do the dock on a separate section, which are both as selected tabs. Such versatility is really quite incredible, allowing you to design an interface as you need it.
Adobe Premiere Pro: in use

- An incredibly comfortable, complex and highly adaptable interface is a very pleasant editing experience.
Adobe has done an excellent job with the Premier Pro, and like its interface, it is extremely flexible and adaptable to use it.
Therefore, if you are operating the mouse or trackpad, or you are more of a keyboard warrior, with shortcuts, or a little of both, you can edit, although you like. When you consider this app it is hardly surprising that it is about 33 years old: it has not been as impressive as it is flexible and without listening to its user base.
If you are an experienced editor, it will take you very little time to work immediately. Setting these and out points, adding clips to a sequence, applying infections, changing the footage through filters and effects, cleaning audio, correctioning color, all this is all a few clicks away.
A section of software we loved are the fields that help you focus on work at hand. Need to color your clip? Choose ‘Rang’ workspace. Want to add some animation to your project? The ‘graphics’ workpiece can be ideal for this.
Not only this, you can also save and customize new workspaces because you become more efficient. The key here is flexibility and the premiere pro that in the spades.
Adobe Premier Pro: Features

- The new features that we have chosen to highlight are not only surprising, but they are sure to save the editors a group of time. They do great work, and the results are beyond the impressive (most of the time).
Like all professional apps of Adobe, the Premier Pro updates regularly, and there are three major additions we wanted to focus exclusively.
The first is a media intelligence visual search, which finds the clip you are after a new level: You say that you are looking for a clip in your media library that includes ‘Palm Tree’ – it will be for you. Or you are searching for that moment in your recording that the word ‘profit’ was spoken. No problem.
This will find accurate footage that you are after comfortable. Although there is a wrinkle: Premier Pro needs to analyze its media, before you can start making appropriate detailed discoveries, and may take some time. Nevertheless, it provides the right opportunity for coffee brake, right?
A previous addition gave us automatic captioning, which did great work, and a huge time-seed. Now, we can increase our access to foreign speakers for automated caption translation. The process is completely comfortable: Go to the caption section of the text panel until you have already received the caption in your sequence, and choose the ‘Translate caption’ from the drop down menu.
You can choose from 27 different languages, and even select them all if you want. Translated text will appear as new text layers in your sequence, which you can hide or reveal at will. This will save so much time.
But what has completely blown us is a generous expansion. Now obviously, every filmmaker knows that you should roll the camera as long as you can be after that after you – just in the case. But this is in an ideal world, and sometimes, we may require an additional some frame to achieve that perfect cut. The generative extend is here to save your bacon.
Now you do not need to slow down your clip to reach your desired length: let AI make some new footage for you. It seems impossible, and we were ourselves suspicious. After all: Can you really rely on the product demo? But we were amazed while trying it ourselves. Some clips were better than others, and strangely some footage we thought it would be easy (close to a ferris wheel), gave us disappointing results, while more complex clips (eg a pan, or woman dancing on a beach, or a roller skates) produced absolutely innocent expansion.

Now for all your wonderful spectacle, it has serious limitations: it can only make videos or 10 seconds of the audio for only 2 seconds, you can only use it at the beginning or end of a clip, not both, it will not generate speech or music (which makes the right understanding when thinking about it). When it comes to its acceptable file formats, there are a large number of restrictions. Perhaps the worst is a lack of compatibility with a clip shot on an iPhone, as it does not support HDR.
We also had a problem with the permission to read/write on the drive that we were using, which caused us to expand the generosity to not work with any warning or any signal why it was not working (even if the Premier Pro saved the project on that drive for the first time!). Once we resolved the issue, it used to work as expected, but a warning would have saved us from a lot of troublesome time.
Overall, however, the latest features in the Premier Pro work incredibly well, help save an entire group of time and provide effects that we had never thought of actually possible.
Adobe Premiere Pro: final decision

If you want a supporting-tier video editor who keeps getting better, then is Pro. We called it the best software for editing videos, and we stand by it. The latest updates only strengthen that position. And when there are swallows here and there, the results from AI’s courtesy are really luxurious and left us up my jaw above the floor, it is one of those moments where they are looking.
Yes, it is relatively expensive, and without going to the tutorial completely, it is not the best video editing software for beginners – it is very professional and complex for him – but for experienced video editors or for those who are ready to learn complications, this is almost correct.
