So far, you should know what to expect from the Atlas game. Whether you are going in the dream of metaphor Bosean fever or making your way under the seven circles of hell in Shin Megie Tensi, Atlas likes it dark. Dark and strange. Unfinished by the trap of generality. A little sharp and a little teen, but all stimulating and goth.
Radou Kuzonha vs Solles Army is no exception. Curious PS2 game (which enjoyed the release of 2006 in Japan and North America, and in Pal regions in 2007) is on attraction with ATLUS’s Manogat and Satani, but with a major variation from all developers’ other titles: it is an action-RPG.

Now, you need to immediately remove your brain from the idea that it is like a soul, or anything similar. It exceeds a hack-end-slash, which is accompanied by the need to grow strategic. Unlike the previous megaten games (and their use of their unprecedented press turn systems), your hero, Ridau Kuzunoha, either can attack with your close range sword or your long range guns. But it will not be a megatene game without demons, so certainly Kuzunoha can also call two demons at a time to help in war.
At the time of launch, it was the game GoodI am a megaten shook, so definitely I played it as soon as it collides with the Pal Bazaar (I also played the sequel, later, which is better in almost every way). It was indeed nothing to write a house about the house, and the match it was inventive. But, oh my, how has everything changed now – about two decades later.
At the time of launch, Switch 2 is coming, Devil Samanar: Radau Kuzunoha vs the Solles Army Remastard is a false name. Everything we are receiving here is a great version, and a really that sounds like a natural and intentional development of the original game. And do you know why this is so? Because, somehow, many of the same developers who worked on Raidou and its sequel during the PS2 era. Still in the studio.

Yes, I know, right? What happened effectively here is Atlas able to say to its employees: “Hey, remember that the game that you have got very correct at the launch in 2006? There is another swing on it. Load it with all the cool fighter ideas you wanted, correct the system, which we have learned in the last 19 years and have to go wild”. And the result is a great piece of history that plays a niche that plays better than before.
First, Atlas has remake the pre-pre-render background of the game to the actual 3D. Everything seemed fine before, but now more interaction, more inspiration to close the beaten path (and, potentially, really more – to deny some criticism of short length of the game from its release). Atlas has also dropped more demons in the roster, which means that you have gained more freedom about the fight, as well as more options for summons and fusing. Again, it looks like a straight north for criticisms of the short offer of the game at the launch in 2006. If you are a megateten shrine, you will appreciate the additions of demons such as Idun, Hayatro, and SMT: 5.
Combat upgrade itself – more status effect, a more streamlined menu, more movement for redau in fighting, more control over its demons – all have been added to the game from another in the series. No complaints, here; Devil Samanar 2: Radau Kuzunoha vs King Abadon improved the first game in almost every way. It creates for far better experience than the original game, and a one that actually stands very well in 2025. It is not going to blow up new ones at all, but it is a novel – and Go to show on Switch 2’s fancy hardware Go ‘a perfect on a little game’.

Another small quality life thing that is worth noting is the encounter rate. It has been decided. No other random encounter. Instead, the demon on-screen is visible and you (sort) have to choose when to attach. To make things even more attractive, we have got English voice acting, too… and you know what? This is very good!
And this can be the one who really appeals to this re-relief. Atlas has ever made some of the most pleasant, and memorable, at any title moments in the original Raidou Games. Yes, which includes personality. These are a humor for these games that actually works – and the conversation between Radau and his familiar Cat Gauto is a great example of good games writing: tutorialization while giving story.
Your demons have all those powers outside the battle (so you can reveal the hidden ideas of NPC – often porn, always funny – or rollplay as a detective to see more in a given scene). Japan’s strange, psychiatric setting of the 1920s is quite unique, and Atlas does well to dive well how eager it is, understanding that it is a time of change, time of anxiety, but also of enthusiasm and development. It is something that I did not know that I needed to have this color with competent and fun sounds.

This is a better product as much as I was expecting, honestly. Shin Megamy Tensi 3 Remaster was quite basic and nakebone, but it is a shiny example of how you can re -release the game after a few 19 years and it actually provides something new, and fixes things that lack the original version. After a brief preview, this is ‘HM, it’s interesting’ to ‘Oh, well I am going to buy it.’ Your mileage may be different, but I think it’s an attractive example what the Atlas can cook with the title of its heritage.
Now, my digital devil Saga 1 + 2 HD Remaster, Where is I?
