Scammers have a new way to ignore online shopkeepers: AI images. For untrained eye, these photos look perfect, but they rarely represent the real product. But during finding that what you are seeing is AI-Act or not, you can avoid some internal thread tips from these scams.

    Read the product detail carefully

    Heroic

The best way to avoid being cheated by fake AI-related photos is to pay full attention to the product description. For example, if you are buying a T-shirt with a cool-covered graphic art, check the product details to ensure that the print actually receives you.

If the details use phrases such as “designs may be different” or “only for the depiction purposes”, it is a red flag, and means that the final product will not look like a photo. You may have to excavate a deep digging in details to spot unclear language and sneaky discomfort. However, if the photos are more suspicious, it is not easy to check, then it is not easy to check. There are some easy tail-tile signs that you are seeing is AI-Janit.

    Customer review and see photo

Online review left for a product

    Heroic

Customer review is the easiest way to achieve a real -world spirit that you are buying. This is a good habit, in fact, if you shop online. Even if an image is not completely AI-well, it can be manipulated significantly. However, reviews posted by other buyers and photos can help you determine what the product really looks and performs.

While it is best to take everything read online with a rash of salt, many negative reviews are a strong indicator that is some off. He said, keep in mind that fake reviews on shopping platforms are common. So, to make some names, look out for things like repeated phrases and strange mistakes.

If the listing is new and there is no review, then conduct a reverse image search on the photo, to see if they appear elsewhere online. If you see the same set of photos used by many vendors, it usually means that images are either AI-Janit or Stock Photos that are being reused without having real items without vendors.

    Consider price

    Heroic

If it looks great to come true, it is probably. There is a reason that products that command the well -made value, they do, and this is because they use better materials, high quality standards, and perhaps just last longer. When you see the image of a product that looks premium, but comes at a depth discounted price, it is a low quality item with attractive AI-borne images.

AI has a long journey, and it can create very realistic pictures that look clean and professional. But the actual product can be made poorly. Although it is certainly possible to get into real deals from time to time, products are given huge discounts, but with photographs that tell a different story, they are best abandoned. If you still have your doubts, compare the prices of similar products in platforms; This will tell you if the deal is valid.

    2

Check many photos of the product (ideally from different angles)

AI is very good in generating images, but it does not work very well to generate images of the same product from different angles, keeping all the details consistent. Therefore, if you are on the fence about a product, check if the seller has added several photos of the product from different angles. If the listing includes only one image, it is a red flag.

If you see many images, look at the photo carefully for stability. Make sure the background details are not changing and that the product itself looks similar in different shots. If a video is included, you can also verify whether the video was an AI-generated using the online tool. Any discrepancies you spot are strong indicators that the listing is not real.

AI-Janit images often have strange visual artifacts or anomalies:

    • Pattern

    • Fingers, buttons, or labels that look off

    • Excessive symmetry or unnatural lighting

    • Background

AI image generation tools are much better since they were launched for the first time, but many still produce images with these issues.

    1

    Review the seller’s profile

    Review on a seller's page

    Heroic

Even if all the details check, I create a point to check the seller’s profile before making online shopping. A iconic seller usually has a solid overall rating, mostly positive reviews. If the profile is completely new or a low rating, I will see elsewhere.

You can go one step further and check their other listings. This will help you get a better understanding of whether they are listening to random products with AI-related photos to sell similar products or quickly sell. But even this is not silly – there are lots of fake and scam reviews to navigate.

Look at any product online, and you will get many listings from different vendors. Given this, do not make the mistake of buying the first item to look good. Take your time to review the product details and be sure to compare your options. The more you are informed, the better you are better to avoid scammers using AI images to sell your cheap items!
