You can finally get rid of these stock contact photos in the mail.

Some software updates pack in many features and changes, while other fundamentally overhala the experience of using the device in question. iOS 18.5 is neither: this is one minor Update, but this is to be expected. WWDC is next month, where Apple will declare approximately iOS 19.
But iOS 18.5 is not an empty update. Once you install it on your iPhone, you will notice some changes – and some changes you do not notice are most important. Here is everything that is new in the latest iOS updates:
With iOS 18.2, Apple upgraded the mail app. For some, changes made the mail app more organized and efficient to use. For others, it was bloated and misleading. Contact photos did not help.
The idea is that if you have a contact photo for the sender, it will appear to the left of the message in your inbox. However, if you do not have any such picture, the mail will use an image from Apple’s stock library. The taste is subjective, but, clearly, these stock icons simply do not look good.
Fortunately, you can disable them, but you will never know that as long as you are not someone who loves diving through your settings app. The iOS 18.5 is fine with an easy option in the mail app. Lifehacker’s silent reader told about the change in more depth here.
It became more difficult to bypass just screen time settings
The screen time feature of Apple is a great tool for parents – and, I can only make a pain for the image, children. Parents can set an passcode to lock screen time settings, and can ensure that children cannot reach aspects of their iPhone that their parents do not want them. Of course, Pascode is a notorious fruitless restriction, as loving children will always find out how to break.
While Apple’s iOS is not re -establishing the passcode wheel with 18.5, this screen is making time slightly more secure. Once you update, you will receive a notice whenever screen time passcode is used on the child’s device. This will not prevent your children from detecting your screen time passcode, but it will remove their fun in the bud very quickly.
I think children will find out some solutions for this facility in future. But, for now, you have an additional tool to help ensure restrictions.
A new “pride harmony” wallpaper

In anticipation of Pride Month, Apple is rolling a new “pride harmony” wallpaper for its various devices. Wallpaper has rainbow colors that adjust your locations, locks, locks, or unlock your iPhone or iPad. Apple also has a new Pride Edition Sport Band, which has a similar color scheme. Apple says its goal with pride harmoni design “is to celebrate the strength and beauty of LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.”
It is easy to be condemned about corporate pride, but seeing the time we live, it is good to see that Apple has been openly kept as support for the LGBTQ+ community as it has been in recent years. ,Donation of Tim Cook on one side,
“Buy with iPhone” is now available on third-party equipment
When you buy something on the TV app of Apple TV (say three times fast), you have the option to approve that purchase with your iPhone. With iOS 18.5, this feature is coming on the TV app on non-apple devices. In this way, you do not need to shop on the TV app of another Apple device before you are able to look on your third-party device.
What do you think so far?
Satellite features provided by Career are now available on the iPhone 13 series
Since 2023, Apple has officially supported satellite communication for all iPhones starting with 14 series. If you are out without cell services, you can join a satellite to reach the authorities for help – or even read only one friend.
After this latest update, however, iPhone 13 users will also be able to take advantage of satellite features.
Apple Vision Pro app gets bug fix
The update also cures a problem with the Apple Vision Pro app, where the app can sometimes display a black screen.
Safety update
The iOS 18.5 sleeper feature is the safety boost that provides your iPhone. In all, the update patches more than 30 bugs. Fortunately, Apple is not aware of any exploitation for these weaknesses, which means that hackers have not used these flaws to target iPhone users. He said, the safest course of action is to update your iPhone as soon as possible, if someone finds out how to use these defects against you.
In addition, here are some non-hacking weaknesses that you should patch. For example, the muted button of facetime may not actually work, which must be more than enough reasons to update iOS 18.5. (Be careful while talking about smack on a facetime call.)
