I was eager to get my hands on the budget-friendly Amazfit Bip 6, to see if this CMF Watch 2 Pro or Amazfit Active 2, our five-star best cheap smartwatch matches the choice. When? We reviewed Amazfit Bip Smartwatch Back in 2019, we praised its amazing value, stylish design and excellent fellow app. Now at version 6, BIP 6 is far better than before.

Let’s focus our attention to the design and build the quality of this watch. Out of the box straight, I was surprised how good it looked. I saw pictures of it, but due to low price I was expecting to get a poorly built smartwatch. Sorry for my pessimism, Amazafit, you have crossed my expectations.
The frame is made of aluminum alloys while the case is fiber-rebel polymer. This is sometimes slightly larger than BIP5, although not attention. I appreciated how it sits on my wrist and is lighter enough to mix in the background even when exercising.
It is a grand 1.97-inch AMOLED display in a smooth, bewored metal case that is an upgrade from TFT on previous recurrence. This causes high opposite, vibrant colors and low power consumption. And at the peak shine of 2000 nits, I had no problem in seeing the screen in the most bright position even in light.
The screen has 380 x 450 resolution and 302 ppi, which is not much less than the Apple Watch Ultra. All this is protected by 2.5D tempered glass, so you do not have to worry about it – within the cause, ie.
This watch is operated with two buttons located on the right side of the case. They are enough to be easily locked, but are not enough to get into the way. BIP 6 has a water-resistance grade of 5 ATMs, which means that it can take water pressure down to 50 meters. Despite this, it is not designed to swim long or intense water games. I am not one of them, but wearing it in the shower and has not faced any problem.

Health tracking and activity records can be accessed through the clock but the most wide insights are available through the ZEPP app. If you want even more advanced welfare information, then you have to subscribe to ZEpp Aura inside the ZEPP app.

In terms of using smartwatch, everything was very positive. When the wrist is rotated and the interface is sufficiently responsible, the clock arises quickly and firmly. Watch lost the pair with some time with the app but was again quick and painful. Information and weather information such as data was also given immediate and confirmation.
BIP 6 also has an underlying GPS, although it is only single frequency at this price. Despite the lack of dual frequency GNSS technology, I found BIP 6 reliable and accurate. If you also need super accurate tracking through densely manufactured areas, you will be better instead with a double -frequency watch such as the Garmin Forner 255. It is being said, I took BIP 6 into a dense forest and there was no problem in taking GPS within seconds.
During walk, run and cycling, I tested with BIP 6 Sunto Race S Which is my general tracking preference. I wondered knowing that many consequences were comparable, including heart rate, speed, travel, and more. I also like how granular the ZEPP app is, it presents all the data, with intensive graphics, many data and bar chart dials. It was also very helpful to compare similar types of workouts over the period of time.
BIP 6 also supports offline maps that help when you know the signal sketch is going to occur. By downloading unknown routes ahead of time, I was able to guarantee that navigation would not be a problem.
It is possible to run music while working outside, but you have to download music in the first watch. The lack of support for music streaming services like Spotify means that you have to be prepared ahead of time and load your favorite music on the clock. I like that it is possible to listen to music through the clock, but the lack of convenience is negative for overall experience.

The battery life is impressive, especially given the price of the clock. The battery capacity is actually raised from 300mAh to 340mAh from the previous model, promoting overall performance and offering a 14 -day battery life with specific use. By monitoring approximately one or two activities per day, I found that the clock actually lasted between 15 and 20 days.
As soon as I extended it and used GPS more often, I quickly found that the battery life fell close to 10 days. The recharging custom was possible through Amazafit charging attachment that connects behind the clock. My only grip was that it did not include a USB-C cable, so you would need to source yourself. It took 120 minutes in a complete recharge from the vacant.
Finally let’s talk about Zepp flow. This feature allows users to operate the watch using simple voice commands. Once I became familiar with the limit of approved orders, I found myself using the GUI and the related button. I was able to accommodate settings, check health data, start workouts and answer information easily.

How I tested
After wearing Amazfit Bip 6 for two months, I have a lot of opportunity to feel a proper feeling of how the clock is in reality. My test has covered all the elements of the watch which includes ‘smart’ features with health and fitness tracking parts. I too have done the night at night to give a rigorous test to sleep. This is a watch that I will continue to wear not only from a comfortable point of view, but also from a performance perspective.
