At its annual hardware event, Amazon introduced a new lineup of Eco equipment, especially designed for its AI assistant, Alexa+, which has already rolled to millions of customers through its initial access program.
To show AI’s capabilities, Amazon is releasing four new Eco devices with better processing power and memory: Eco dot Max, Eco Studio, Eco Show 8, and Eco Show 11.
The key to the devices is Alexa+ Integration, allowing speakers to answer more questions than earlier models, offering natural language conversations, more complex questions, and soon, support for more ad-on and abilities.
It will later include an Alexa+ store, where users can detect services from brands such as Fandango, Grubhab, Lift, Prisline, Taskerbit, Thumbtac and Yahoo Sports. The device will be able to manage new or existing membership with Amazon Music, Amazon Kids+, or Alexa Emergency Assist with their services and will be able to manage new or existing membership and adapt to their Alexa experience.
The new Eco devices launched today run on Amazon’s custom-designed silicone chips, AZ3 and AZ3 Pro, including an AI accelerator designed to run the AI edge models.
AZ3 enables detection of better interactions on Eco dot, making people talk to the device from anywhere in the room, while still filter the background noise. The chip also improves the detection of more than 50%wake, Amazon claims.
The other three devices – studios, shows 8, and 11 – AZ3 Pro uses support for advanced language models and vision transformers.
In addition, the AZ3 Pro-competent devices include omenisance, a custom sensor platform for the ambient AI, which uses a 13-megapixel camera on new Eco show devices, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, acceler and Wi-Fi channel State Information (CSI). With this feature, the devices allow Alexa to work on the events occurring in the house, such as a special person provides you a reminder when a particular person alerted you on an open garage door before walking in the room or going to bed at night.
The new Eco dot Max, $ 99.99, adds about three times the bass for better sound. The two-way speaker consists of a woofer for deep bass and a custom tweeter for high notes.
Amazon says that $ 219.99 Eco Studio offers a new circular design, making it 40% smaller than the original. Eco studios also include an upgraded lighting ring for a high-deception woofer, spatial audio, and dolby atomos and Alexa or a better visual understanding for processing.
Company notes consumers can connect five eco studios or eco dot max devices with a fire TV stick for an immersive sound system in their home, and this Alexa is planning to sell products in home theater bundles.
Apart from this, there are new two smart displays, Eco Show 8 ($ 179.99) and Eco Show 11 ($ 219.99), in which both have a new design, better picture quality, a 13-megapixel camera, a large screen area, a new front-faceing stereo speaker, a Custom Woofer and Alexa+ operated facilities.
AI will run a new smart home experience called AI Assistant Alexa+ Home, which combines the event summary and a smart home hub from the ring camera feed that supports substance, thread and zigabi.
With equipment with a screen as Alexa, displays also do good work to reach entertainment, such as audio and video streaming, managing home organization and family activities, and managing domestic shopping needs. The latter integrates with Amazon, Hole Foods and Amazon fresh to make preferred and delivery tracking easier.
In addition, Amazon Alexa is working closely with Smart Ring Maker Aura to bring personal health and welfare suggestions for devices. It can help in doing things like a workout or a elbow -extinguitarian or elbow to get the best sleep.
