AMD on Tuesday unveiled the AMD Ryzen Thredripper 9000 series as its latest high-demonstration processor in Computex 2025. Top of line processors, ryzen threadraper pro 9995wx, 96 core and 5.4GHz equipped with a peak clock speed. AMD launched Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPUS with 16GB and 32GB video memory respectively. Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU is claimed to double the Ray Tracing Thrupoot compared to its predecessor.

The new AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro is yet to be announced to priced for the 9000 WX-Series processor, and AMD says they will be available to buy from OEMs like Dell, HP and Lenovo and SuperMichro in the coming months. Meanwhile, Ryzen Thredripper 9000 series processors will be available through retailers in July.
AMD Radeon Radeon is available in 9060 XT GPU 8GB and 16GB configurations, priced at $ 299 (about 25,600 rupees) and $ 349 (about 29,900 rupees). It will be available to buy later this year, through GPU manufacturers such as Acer, Aerrock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColler, Neelam, Wastermore, XFX and Yeston.
Chipmaker has not yet announced pricing for AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPU, which will be available from GPU manufacturers in July.

AMD has introduced six models in the new Ryzen Thredripper Pro 9000 WX series, with up to 96 core, up to 192 threads, up to 5.4GHz peak clock speed, and up to 350W TDP. The company has also introduced three new Ryzen Thredripper 9000 series processors up to 64 core, up to 5.4GHz peak clock speed, and 350W TDP.

The company says that the Ryzen Thredripper Pro is aimed at visual impact, simulation and AI model development. These chips are equipped with 384MB L3 cache, and support PCIE 5.0 connectivity (128 lanes).
On the other hand, the Ryzen Thredripper 9000 series is designed for creators and developers working on local AI training. AMD says that these processors can be used for AI training without relying on the cloud, but did not provide details about the specific AI model.

AMD’s new Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU is equipped with GDDR6 up to 16GB of video memory, up to 32 RDNA 4 compute units, and clock speed up to 3.13GHz. This is claimed to double the rand tracing throwput distributed by the previous generation of chipmaker. The GPU supports features such as high frame rates and FSR 4 for better image quality, and it enables AI features with the support of FP8 data types.
Meanwhile, AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 also has AI accelerator of its second generation and this GDDR6 memory is equipped with 32GB of 64 RDNA compute units, promoting clock speed up to 2.92GHz. It can also be used in multi-GPU setup. The support for ROCM software stack is currently available on Linux, and AMD says Windows will also be supported in future.
