
US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order approved the plan for restructuring the tiktok operations in the country to address national security concerns.
Tiktok is a large-scale popular short-form video platform, owned by Chinese firm Bidens. According to data published at the beginning of the month, social media service has a strong presence in the US, counting more than 170 million users.
The platform is not only for entertainment, as many manufacturers of the country depend on this for income, and businesses use it to advertise and promote brands and products.
