An American tourist in the United Kingdom was allegedly prepared by a person as a taxi driver, who stole a tourist’s $ 123,000 in bitcoin stored on a cell phone.
according to a Report From my London, Jacob Irwin-Clin went to a London bar and had several drinks before calling a Uber to take him home.
Clin said he did not examine the details of Uber’s ride on his phone and at first glance, Uber left with a random private cab driver meeting with the driver, but driving a separate vehicle – an extension Clin would only find after the incident.
Once inside the vehicle, the American tourist said that the driver offered him a cigarette, which Clin said that possibly a rare and powerful sedative drug called scopolamine was kept with medicine. Clin said that cigarette made him feel very humble and tired, which made him out for about 30 minutes before attaining consciousness.
Shortly after the Clin woke up, the driver ordered him to be dropped from the vehicle. As soon as the clin came out, the driver suddenly stopped, hit him with his cellphone, which had access to his personal key and his crypto accounts.
