Victoria Lynch, Founder of Global Hair Extension Brand Remi catchtThere was a passion to style hair from an early age. As a 14 -year -old in Britain, he hanged synthetic hair and styled family and friends; There was a six -month waiting list at one point in his home salon. She continued her craft over the years, doing hair part-time along with the morning factory job, until an 18-year-old accident changed her life.

“I had a road traffic accident with a bus,” Lynch tells entrepreneur“And it left me with some injuries, which affected my lower spine. I finished with degenerative disc in my lower spine. I had only two weeks of work, and then I went back to work in the factory.”

Lynch’s injuries made it difficult to stay on their feet throughout the day in the factory and salon. She began to consider what the next stage of her career could look. People often told Lynch how they should do her hair, but she knew that if she was going to make her mark in the industry, she needed qualification at a professional level. So he participated in college for those qualifications, then pigeons in entrepreneurship.

“That brand was especially for that consumer market.”

Lynch used money from his savings account to start his first hair extension brand, additional length in 2003.

Says Lynch, “The extensions were not popular in the same ability that we see today,” and I made the brand keeping the end-user in mind because I was still working and having hair. I was still supplying products directly to my customers. So how I established a business-that brand was especially for that consumer market. ,

In an era before social media, helping to facilitate massive commercial growth, Lynch focused on the word-ke-mouth marketing within his community.

“I was initially talking to my local community a lot,” Lynch says, “and I was working on the limits that they decide and put in place on the basis of their disposable income. What is my local community looking to pay? I can sign up in my area to meet my needs?

Lynch extended additional length for the next 10 years. But the brand was not only popular with consumers; Business professionals also started purchasing products, resulting in a “very mixed message” between the two customer groups, says Lynch. The lynch wanted to create a line of high -end extension products that would especially complete the professional market, and felt that the creation of a completely new brand identity was the way forward.

“It was a brand by a professional, directly to a professional.”

Therefore, in 2013, Lynch launched its next hair extension brand: Remi Catches.

“Being a child professional and understanding the audience, especially along with the industry side -from the last user, this was just the right direction for me,” Lynch says. “And it paid because the Remi Catcher became the number one business professional brand in Britain. It was a brand by a professional, directly to a professional.”

Lynch made the only authorized distributor of her new brand to use the logistics and knowledge of her new brand, which was already applicable, notes. Then there was talk of using that existing infrastructure to develop the specific brand identity and tone of Remi Catches.

Lynch says, “I never said that I am the owner of that brand.” “I wanted a business place to think, Oh God, what is this brand?,

Remi Catches echoed with industry professionals, and as he did with his first business, Lynch used the power of word-of-mouthed marketing to develop the brand.

“I have created a business audience that now depends on our service and product to operate.”

Now, Remy Catcht continues to see success in the UK, and in January 2025, the brand launched in the US on the red carpet to get his products on celebrities including Elie Golding, Margaret Quallly, Mickey Madison, Kim Kardashian and more. The brand claims $ 35 million in sales according to the company.

Says Lynch, “If social media (offline), then the foundation I have set up and established my business will be firmly, whatever happened,” Lynch says. “I have created a business audience that now depends on our service and product to operate and maintain its own business growth and goals.”

After more than 20 years as an entrepreneur in the haurcare industry, Lynch recently hired its first sales team.

“No many businesses can say that they have gained revenue number and size that we have without a sales team, but I have done it,” Lynch says. “And I dare to say how I might have maneuver in business, the decisions I have taken in business: Let the product talk. Build the product and trust what you are doing.”

“I want this to be the brand that is on everyone’s lips for the right reasons.”

Like many businesses, the Remi Catches fled to complications with American expansion due to the recent tariffs, putting the brand “little pin” in some of its plans. However, the brand still intends to prioritize global expansion over the whole. In short term, this means focusing on markets outside the US where it can go after “low hanging fruits and quick victory”.

Lynch is ready for the growth of Remy Catches globally, it is believed that as the white-labeled brands spread like never before, his company will continue to distinguish its product and customer’s commitment to understand it.

“Everyone wants a piece of that pie, but that pie is getting smaller and smaller,” Lynch says. “To establish and know the market and to be able to serve people (give us an advantage) whether we are (on the ground) or not. For a long period, I want to make a situation of global domination (for) the Remy Catches (for). I want it to be the brand that is on everyone’s lips for the right reasons.”
