Save your wrist with good ergonomics

It is not always easy to achieve good ergonomics in your field. While there is no shortage of ergonomic mice and rests to try the wrist, there are no size-fit-all solutions. If a wrist comfort puts your wrist and hand to the wrong angle naturally, it is not ergonomic for you, despite its label – in fact, it can just make things worse.

I have small hands, and my wrist has been susceptible to muscle tension and injury because a chronic job has caused repetitive motion injuries. Given this, I have to do research on any ergonomic product, which I am interested in large scale before deciding to cut the bullet. But in doing so, I never found anything that would work for me, and finally I settled for ‘normal’ PC external equipment and a inexpensive wrist comfort and expected the best.

But as I grew up, stress on my wrist became more clear. If I used my mouse very long, I will feel shooting pain in the top of my hand – and this is a problem that I am working in front of the computer all day, and gaming is my main hobby after work. Therefore, I needed to find a solution.

What to see when buying ergonomic mouse

The increased requirement for an ergonomic mouse, however, did not discover any easily. The vertical mice did not appeal to me because how they kept my wrist, and the trackball was nothing that I wanted to return after working with them decades ago. But traditional ergonomic mice seem to have their own problems. Some looked great for my hands, others looked very heavy, and if there was no control setting for DPI, the mouse was just not made for me.

Combine how expensive it is with an average ergonomic mice, and it caused a disappointing position – which was more growing due to my hand pain in search of a solution.

I was about to settle on Loditech MX Master 3S, which my colleague loved, but before I jumped, I got a chance to test the Razor Pro Click V2. My expectations were already tempted – because it was a razor mouse, I knew it would have adaptation options that I wanted, but I had no clue how it would feel and how much resistance it would be in my hand. Finally, I became pleasant surprised.

A solid, tame design

Razor Pro Click is something interesting about V2 that the overall design is more subdued than many other offerings of the razor. With the Pro Click V2, you get a simple black and silver colorway, devoid of specific bright green logo of the razor, and a small line of LED under the mouse provides an underlite that is not highly bright or furious.

The original version of the Razor Pro Click created this design philosophy as well as keeping in mind the office and productivity. In general, the V2 is similar to the V1 in terms of size and ergonomics, which has the most important change in addition to LED strip.

The only disappointment is that the pro click V2 is available only in black, while various rats of the V1 line were white. It is not a deluge, but it would be good to have an option to get a mouse that fits better with my desk space and other external devices.

However, more important than its look is that it was great to use Pro Click V2. My hand fits well around my mouse, and it is easy to press the button on the edge of the mouse, without reaching my thumb or hand. There are also two scrolling speeds-a ‘tangent cycling mode’ that is close to an average mouse using mouse, and a ‘free-spin scrolling’ speed that lets you scroll very quickly with a swipe of your finger.

While I used most common scroll speed, the speed of free-spin was very helpful when I needed to get to the bottom of an article or webpage, while preventing hand stress from swiping the scroll wheel repeatedly. Best of all, you switch between two speeds through a physical button on the pro click V2, so there is no tampering with the software to replace between the two mode.

Synapse and Chroma lets you customize your heart content

It is important to note that just because the Pro Click V2 is taken into consideration with productivity, it does not mean that it is the only use of the mouse. It is very comfortable for gaming, broadly thanks to the Razor Symps app.

The app gives you a pile of options to customize your mouse, not at least to install a variety of profiles. The profiles allow you to separate the different buttons (including bending the left and right scroll wheels) and set it so that the mouse automatically switchs the profile when it detects you to open a specific program.

In addition, there are intensive controls that allow you to adjust the DPI and polling rates as per your choice, which is great not only for gaming but also to move your mouse around the screen without any additional movement in your wrist and hands.

Meanwhile, the Razor Croma App allows you to customize LED on your pro click V2. Of course, it is not beneficial for ergonomics, but the detailed number of available light options and colors allow you to create any effect that you are seeing.

Should you buy Razor Pro Click V2?

If you do not have an ergonomic mouse or your current gaming-friendly, I can recommend the Razor Pro Click V2. This ergonomic mouse combines productivity and gaming well, which causes that pro click V2 can deal with almost everything. There is no need to swap mice to work and play!

Now, if you already have an ergonomic mouse, you would like to consider whether the pro click V2 is worth upgrading. I would recommend doing this as it is difficult to defeat its adaptation options, and they will do amazing jobs in terms of ensuring that you do not need to move the mouse on your desk and hurt your wrist more.
