Code essentially creates a reference for airpods that are new to Airpods Pro 2, suggesting that Apple is preparing its software for the release of new earphones.

The line of the code shared by Paris shows a change, where it first reads “AirPods Pro 2 Generation”, but now it reads “AirPods Pro 2 or later”.
So what the software is, it may not be clear, but it is not largely relevant because the overrising here is that Apple is preparing for functionality with new airpods.
The fact that this clear leak comes from its software of apple, helps add weight to rumors that new AirPods Pro 3 may come soon.
