Apple today (June 3) announced a head on WWDC 2025 by announcing the winners of its annual Apple Design Awards, as it seems to highlight some of the best apps and games available in its app store.
In this year’s version, 12 winners selected by the editorial team of the App Store have been cuisted from the list of 36 finalists. The categories have changed over the years, but in repetition of 2025, there are similar categories to the spatial computing category for Apple Vision Pro app last year. Returning categories include joy and fun, inclusiveness, innovation, conversation, social impact, visual and graphics.
Two winners are seen in each category – one app and one game, so there are 12 awards in six categories. The winners are not defined by download or revenue, but by commitment to innovation and simplicity, Apple says.

Balatro-Deckbuilding, crooks like poker
Baltro took the world of gaming from the storm last year. It was one of our pics for the best video game of 2024. If you have not played, game fuse poker, solitaire and deck building where you combine the clown card with abilities to score.

honorable mention: Capwords converts images of objects into stickers to help you learn new languages. If you are practicing a new language then it can be a fun way to change things.
Play – Sulabh App Development
Play is an app designed to help you create an iPhone app by allowing you to create prototypes in the Apple Swiftu Code. It was chosen for its spontaneous interface to help the app manufacturers of all levels of experience to help and design. This can be sinking between your Mac and your iPhone so that you can move between the equipment as required.
honorable mention: PBJ – Music is an interactive music game based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. It contains the data and voice of handcrafted paper. It is clever and artistic.
Drease – Existing Horror during fishing
Dredge is an existent slow-burn horror game available on other platforms for a while. In fact, it was one of our favorite games that you could remember in 2023. It received only an excellent mobile port last year.
In the game, you play as a contract fisherman who catches normal fish for a remote island disposal, but fill your mesh deep by night. This is a ghostly mystery with a terrible world.
And don’t worry, it is not a gory or highly stressful scary game, more unfit.
honorable mention: Taobao is a shopping experience app design for Vision Pro that lets you compare 3D models of products.
Art of creatures – Beautiful Puzzles
The art of art is a comfortable, beautiful, illustrated puzzle game where you revolve around the visual elements or texts and solve the riddles.
The puzzle is combined with the details of the animals that they paint. You can solve the image or text. It also promotes animal protection and inclusion.
honorable mention: Speckfy is an app that reads the lesson and turns it into audio. The app means helping people with dyslexia, ADHD and low -vision, or for those who learn better by listening.
Look at duty – protect from fire
During the wildfire of the devastating California at the beginning of the year, the watch duty app was indispensable to track what was happening with the fire of Palisads and Eaton, spreading through the neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Through the user and agency reports, the app shows fire circumference and progress and withdrawal orders.
In addition, it is free and maintains charity.
honorable mention: Neva is an absolutely grand 2D platform where a girl and her wolf, Neva travel to the world and fight against the corrupt weather. It is heartbreaking and beautiful and you should play it.
Wings: Draw in 3D – Change 2D in 3D
At one level, the feather is for designers and artists. At the same time, it is a delightful app that takes 2D images and presents them in 3D.
