Apple revealed the Macos Tahoe 26 during its large Keenote in WWDC 2025, and will now be the last major update for Intel-based MACS.
during Apple’s platform state of the union The incident announced that the final release for Macos Taho Intel Mac will be. When Macos 27 comes next year, only MACS with Apple Silicon, its M-Series Chips, will get updates.
This was unavoidable, as each annual MACOS updates are old Macs drop offdates, and they are all packed with Intel chips. It is in all the PCs of Apple, including MacBook, IMAC, Mac Mini, Mac Pro and Mac Studio.
“If you’ve not already done so, then senior director of the developers Matthew Ferlicic told the developers, now there is a great time to help your users transfer their apps to Apple Silicon versions.”
Many Intel Macs are already lagging behind with Mcos Taho, such as 2020 MacBook Air and 2020 MacBook Pro with two Thunderbolt 3 ports. But there are still some who are getting support (later more on it).
However, these Macs do not get complete width of facilities as people with apple silicon. In small prints, as cupertino tech giant states, only MAC with M1 or subsequent all the latest Apple intelligence facilities.
It is important to note that just because Intel Mac Macos will stop receiving support for the update, this does not mean they will become useless, as they will still get security updates.
MACS Ending Support in 2027

Apple Macos is leaving 7 Macs in Tahoe’s step, which means they will be trapped in Macos Sequoia Limbo. If you have found these PCs and want to get further updates, you want to think of grabbing one of the best MacBook or others as an upgrade.

The rest of the Intel-based Mac will not see MACOS 27 updates next year. This includes the following:
- 2019 MacBook Pro (16-inch)
- 2020 MacBook Pro (13-inch, Char Thunderbolt 3 port)
- 2020 iMac
- 2019 Mac Pro
Since 2027, Apple will infection away from its Intel Prasad and the Apple will focus on providing a major update to his suit of silicone-based Mac.
