We haven’t been Recently MACOS is excited about updates, but with Macos 26 Tahoe, it seems that we are becoming one of the biggest overhall in a while.
Between the visual redesign and some exciting Pro features, the MacoS 26 Taho has something for everyone, in which a Mac Nards will absolutely love.
Apart from this, be sure to thoroughly examine everything announced by Apple in WWDC 2025.
Liquid glass
It has been some time since Apple introduced this broad view widely. Liquid glass is one that calls the visual motifs of its next era in the Apple software design.
Digested by soft transparency and microscopic gradients, designs like glass only appear about each interface, including menu bar, lock screen, app icons, and sidebar in apps. What I have seen so far is a good change, although some designers are worried about how it can interfere with basic functionality. The beauty change for Macos is not as rigid as it is through iOS, but it appears to be a well -appreciated fresh coat of paint.

There are some small design changes, such as the ability to change the color of folders or add a emoji to them. The control center, located at the top of the menu bar, is also made completely transparent. Even more importantly, Apple has added more tons of adaptation so that you can add more quick settings to change. You can also add specific settings to usually used apps such as zoom.
Macos Tahoe also brings a design Twiks that came in iPhones last year: Tint for Icon, which applies an integrated look to all your icons at once. Honestly, I wonder it coming into MacoS, as it was not well received by critics.
Major spotlight update
This is the facility that I am the most excited. Spotlight search tools have always been one of my favorite features in Macos, and I am waiting for Apple to take this popular feature to the next level. It is smart about every level, quickly offers apps, documents, or even your clipboard history. But this update is much more than this.
First, the Spotlight can now do the system action and even in-app action, such as playing podcast or starting recording. You can also fill such criteria as you are sending an email – again, right in the spotlight!
But wait, there is more. There are even quick keys that you can use to advance things. Type “SM” to send a message or “AR” to create a reminder. Think of the next level key command with these. You can also set your own quick key, actually expand abilities and adaptation. For example, you can set a quick key to action within an app, which you are using, so that you can quickly set a task from the keyboard. It is for Mac Nards that already knows every other major command, and I can’t wait to try it.
AI-Invented Shortcut
Shortcut can be a very powerful way to automate tasks on your Mac. With Mcos Taho, these are upgraded by Apple Intelligence, making you set shortcuts such as summarizing the text or generating images. If necessary you can also tap in chat (or on-device neural engine), if necessary, you can install chains of tasks that can be potentially extremely useful. For example, you can create a shortcut that compares notes with the lesson in notes in audio transcription from a lecture, and then briefly presents the difference by using Apple Intelligence.
