Apple has revealed a major visual redigation for its upcoming iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos 26, TVOS 26, and Watchos 26 software updates.
WWDC declared in 2025, the new software design emphasizes language transparency and liquidity, including a new digital ‘content’ called liquid glass that almost refrats light and reacts to user movements dynamically.
According to Apple, iOS 26 will be the biggest update for the visual identification of Apple’s iPhone software as iOS 7 was released in 2013.
Apple notes that Visionos’ round and transparent elements served as an inspiration for new software design, which rebuild the app icon anywhere between the look of iOS 18 and Macos Sequoia.
Additionally, a new clear topic will debut on the iPhone and iPad, which will expand on the first available light, dark and color tint mode.
WWDC is running at the time of Kenote Writing – Be sure to check with our wwdc 2025 live blog for the latest updates. Tell us what you think about the new liquid glass-based design in the comments below.
