Aptos Labs and Jump Crypto introduced a cloud-based storage network for web3 and decentralized applications-a system its creators say that traditional cloud services are called rivals.
Unveiled on Tuesday, the network-called Shelby-is a global-distributed platform operated by APTOS’s high-thruput technology. It is chain-economic, which provides compatibility with atherium, solana and other major blockchain.
Shelby is designed for developers that require cloud -like speed and remote access to demand streaming videos, artificial intelligence and decentralized physical infrastructure (DepIPIN) application.
Aptos Labs is the manufacturer of Aptos Blockchain, which is recognized to emphasize scalability and performance.
Digital asset divisions of Jump Trading Group, Jump Crypto, are actively engaged in developing venture investing and blockchain and crypto-country projects.
Shelby is launching in a highly competitive cloud marketplace, which dominates Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
Pranav Rawal, an engineering lead of Aptos, told the coinalgraph that shelby provides equal performance for the major cloud platforms, but gives the developers “to maintain ownership, pricing at the protocol level and the ability to maintain business logic” at the protocol level.

AI Workload promotes data storage demand
Rawal was asked about the role of cloud services in supporting AI Workload, especially in light of large -scale data storage requirements and increasing needs of data center infrastructure.
Recently citing International Energy Agency Data, S&P Global Informed This global data center power demand is estimated to double by 2030. These growing data scalable fuel the requirement of skilled, efficient storage solutions, demanding increasing pressure on cloud platforms.
