a lot of Mechanical keyboards struggle with aesthetics. Hard to be right! If the style is overdone, you can prevent functionality or simply walk very visually. If you stick to the basics, you may end with a brand keyboard. Whatever way you go, there is still a chance that you will do it wrong and something will happen that does not feel good.
But late is an influx of really well-designed keyboard: K2 of Keychron is a great example, as well as MCOSE GX87 Ultra, not to mention the countless high-end custom keyboard kits available today. With most of these keyboards, kicaps take a backseat – even if they look good, they are usually quite standard and minimal.
Asus Rog takes the opposite view with Azoth X: a simple white case, but colorful and style kicaps. This is not the most traditional design, but they look really good and manage to prepare a desk without handling their setup. It manages to look good without renunciation of the keyboard substance-Azoth X is 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity, 1,000-hurts polling and an internal assembly that makes both fun to type and is easy to modify. It is available in white with either clicks or linear NX switch, and includes a silicone wrist comfort. It all spends a beautiful money, however, at $ 300.
Deep and tapped typing

This keyboard is the most comparable to the Blackwido V4 75% of the razor in typing experience. Both use a metal top case and a gasket mount system and a plastic case with a plastic plate. Hardness is the same, as sound profiles. The biggest difference is switch option: 75% of the razor is available only with the touch switch, while the asus provides linear and click switch.
The unit I received came with Asas’s snow linear switch. These are a fairly light linear switch with a deep typing sound and a consistent lubrication in the entire keypress. They are not the most smooth switches tested by me, but friction was felt while typing, both are minimal and consistent, resulting in a typing experience that is still pleasant. These switches also have a minimum stem vobbal, which means that the keypace feels stable and confident when typing. They require less force than cherry MX red switch, requiring 53 grams of force perfectly below 60 grams of MX Red. This difference is noticeable and in fact the switch seems more responsible without the risk of MIS -Eneput than the spring.
The gasket-mounting system that keeps the keyboard in place feels like a mixture between a gasket mount and an o-ring mount, as the rubber gasket is pressed tightly inside the case. This means that the typing feel corresponds to the entire keyboard, and feels more connected to the case than a standard foam gasket. It still has some bounce and tenderness required from a gasket mount, but it is less than many comparable keyboards.
The stabilizers in Azoth X are standard plate-mounted, which are luned from the factory. While plate-mount stabilizers are usually less stable felt than the PCB-mount, people used here still feel good and there is no rattle out of the box.
Space-soa aesthetics

I like a lot of things about the design. The kicap is slightly flatter than the average keycap and a two-tukra assembly with a transparent back for RGB proliferation. The case has a smooth and angular design that looks stylish and space-ed without a lot of room.
