Rare’s famous bear and bird duo have been ongoing for years for the revival of Banjo-Kajui, but will the fans ever look back at this series?
Sports composer Grant Kirkhaop had already talked about it already – how he had “zero hope” for a new entry, and now in an interview with our friends Eurogammer Recently, he is wide on why he wonders that it is “unlikely”.
Kirkhaop believes that there are many reasons why the possibility of Banjo-Zajui will not be revived, but he feels that the “overriding factor” comes down to the money:
“If you feel that I have found one hundred and a few thousand followers on my Twitter, and this is a Banjo bubble, if all this is not going to make any money. You need millions of people to buy the game, and you have got it to sell it to a whole new generation of children.”
They are also not sure that the rare has “hunger” for the revival of the chain, and even if it moves, the Microsoft may probably “stand back” – and so the rare will require “heavily raising”, including “finding another studio” that includes another that can do it “.
British humor in Banjo -Kazui is also “really necessary” according to Kirkhaop – so “you have to find the team that is” passion and humor for it “.
As if the Kirkop comes back in the series, he says he would “come back in the heartbeat” if there was any opportunity:
