Electonic Arts has expanded the upcoming Battalfield 6 Open Beta, with multiplayer maps, mode and challenges available to players who sign up for the platest. Open beta events for military shooter will be live in two weekends in this month, from 9 August to 10 August and then from August 14 to August 17. Interested players can also do pre-load battlefield 6 on supported platforms.

Players and EA Play Pro members who sign up for Battalfield Labs before 31 July will get a quick access to the first open beta starting on August 7. The first Battalfield 6 Open Beta Weekend will have three maps: Cairo’s siege, liberation peak, and Iberian aggressive, one confirmed in EA blog post On Monday.
According to EA, each map comes with different fighter areas that are configured to fit various game mode. During the first open beta, players will have access to five multiplayer game mode: victory, closed weapons success, success, domination and kings of the hill.
The first open beta of Battalfield 6 will also come with seven challenges, four of which will be bound by four available sections. The in-game rewards will be used by meeting challenges during the first weekend, which can be used when the full game is launched in October.
The second open beta, which will be closed on August 14, will include all three maps from week 1 to 1, as well as Empire State Map in New York. Week 2 will also get two new modes – Rush and Squad Destage – In addition to the modes available in week 1, and will add three new challenges to the players.

Batalfield Open Betus can be accessed at PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC (through Steam, Epic Games Store and EA app). Pre-loading is now available on all platforms. The initial access will begin on August 7 at 8:00 UTC (1 AM PT or 1:30 PM IST), who signed up for battlefield labs before 31 July and signed up for EA Play Pro Subscriber.
For everyone else, the first open beta weekend will be live on August 9 at 8:00 UTC (1:30 PM IST) and will be closed on August 11 at 8:00 UTC (1:30 PM IST), while the second open beta weekend will open on August 14 and on August 17 at the same time.
Batalfield will be released on October 10, 2025 in PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
