Benq RD280U: Unboxing and First Impression
Benq’s packaging is very straightforward. The box has a monitor, packed very neatly so that it is not damaged in transit, monitor arm, base for monitor, and any auxiliary cable you want. Since it is a standard version and not the erro-arrow version, I decided to place the display quickly on the Vesa arm, but each for my own.
I am used to 16: 9 monitor that it took me a second time to get used to looking at 3: 2 displays. Until it took me to adjust the LG dual up, but still it took me a minute. This 16: 9 aspect ratio looks similar to the monitor, but after starting its use, you immediately notice a difference.
Out of using the monitor, the physical cover of the display is solid and durable, and a light ring in the back is an attractive touch. I am the one who writes on the season late night or early in the morning and how busy I am writing – I am writing it at 11:56 pm on Monday. Therefore, it is also being said that I enjoy the light ring and use it to bounce light from the wall behind my performance to reduce some eye stress with a bright performance and lead to dark wall behind it.

I have been a fan of Benq Monitor for some time. If you ask me, they are hitting above their weight class. The RD model is also not an exception to this rule. I personally do not love the huge chin, but I think what they were doing. Outside it, however, I like this monitor very much.
3: 2 aspect ratio is growing on me, and when I am not using this monitor, I am missing myself extra height. Matt Finnish on the screen reduces the glare, like my paper -like screen guard on my iPad, which I can no longer live without. It also helps to increase visibility if your office is in a room with too much natural light, a window, or a lamp behind you. If you had a non-mate screen in those environment, you will find a crazy dazzle, but with that matte finish, you can still see the screen.
The stand with this display is super simple and good if you do not need any fancy. I usually like to place my monitor on the monitor arm so that they can be given more ergonomic orientation. For this monitor, I have a corsair desk with a built -in rack and monitor arm that is ideal for this display and desk setup.
Benq RD280U: In Uses
I have monitored this on my team, and it has been roaming for some time. So far, it has been a completely luxurious monitor for day-to-day use, while for infrastructure for basic users who do any coding and want a coding mode, for those who will be benefited from Halo Lite, or those who wish for that mat screen, this monitor is a great option.
As mentioned above, the 3: 2 aspect ratio has been excellent for day-to-day productivity functions and standard functions. This seems like such a small change, but it distinguishes extensively in the correct contexts. I can fit a lot of vertical location on the screen, meaning that I can see more on a webpage, more and more of my more windows during a working day, or a terminal, math, postman and project management tools. It is a great low productivity for the last few months. If you are in a full-screen application, you notice it more, but the vertical location is super accessory, even if you have many windows open.
The clarity of the text on this display is outstanding, making your eyes comfortable for a long time, whether you are working during the day or at night. This is especially true when combined with soft light reflecting the wall behind the performance, which also helps reduce eye stress.
One thing that I appreciate in the previous year is a monitor that has USB-C connectivity. Now, I will still put one of the best laptop docking stations on some of my desk setup, but on such a simple setup, I love a single cable setup easily. Even for my more complex setup, like my main setup which is actually an animal of a setup, I use the USB-C connection to the display so that I can run the USB port on the monitor, I can control the monitor with the display pilot 2, and similarly. No matter which setup it is, I like how easy the USB-C cable setup is, reducing cable chaos, and making the entire setup feel comfortable.

Benq rd280u: final decision
Benq RD280U is a niche monitor, there is no doubt. Take a look and you can immediately tell if this monitor has been marketed for you or not.
I have some people in my team who do not like the look of this monitor and will quickly tell you that it is not for them, yet there are other people in my team who love the look, functionality, aspect ratio and design of this display. So, for each.
It cannot rank in the best business monitor I tried, but if you are in coding, engineering, or the same style taste, this monitor would be a great option.
