On Monday, Blussky Announced Three updates to increase information, users are allowed to personalize their experience while declaring their notification center and reducing unnecessary alerts.
Updates include the ability to obtain activity information for specific accounts, as well as options to adjust notification preferences that you receive. For example, users can notify only when some accounts answer them.
Blussky users can now navigate notifications to customize settings and then alerts for various interactions, including new followers, likes, answers, mentions, quotes and reposts. There is also a “everything” option, which covers general information, such as when a starter is involved through pack or verification alert.
Each option can only be adapted to apply to accounts that they follow or can be fully disabled, and also fully disabled.
Additionally, users can now receive information when someone prefers his repost or repost content that they have shared. This feature is particularly useful for those who restrain the post again instead of creating original materials, helping them feel more busy.
Blussky said that previous “priority information” facility has been changed. That feature allowed users to filter information only to get updates from those accounts. To achieve the same result, users must change the answer, mention and quotation information for “people you follow”.
The new activity notification facility is similar to people found on platforms such as X and Threads, making users even informed when an account posts something new or responds to a post.
To enable this feature, go to a profile and every time the account tap the bell icon next to the follow button to get a new post. Answer is also a separate option for information.
Users can manage their activity notifications in settings, removing accounts from their list if they want to get updates now.
A warning is that accounts can fully disable this feature, which means that users may not be able to turn on activity information for every account they want to follow. Account owners can only enable activity notifications for those they follow.
