Establishing brave was to be a weekend experiment. Now, this is my daily driver. It is like trying a free sample and ending with a lifetime membership, and you should also make a switch.

    Privacy-First, always

Most browser claim to protect your privacy, but actually brave. The moment you install it, it automatically blocks advertising and unwanted scripts. There is no need to mess up with settings or add extensions. Websites load rapidly, distractions disappear, and your browsing experience seems cleaner and uninterrupted.

Then there is a brave shield, which acts like a personal firewall for your browser. It blocks cross-site cookies and other tracking methods that monitor your activity. It also prevents the script of infiltration that slow down or collect data about you. If a site is not loaded properly, you can close specific protection for that page without compromising your overall privacy.

Brave is the best web browser, and anything can explain to me otherwise

The shield also includes fingerprinting protection, which prevents websites from identifying you based on your screen size, browser version, installed fonts and other system symptoms. You can also enable a setting that automatically forget the sites when you close them. It cleans cookies and local data in the background, so you remain private without manual cleanup. For more control, the brave custom supports the material filter, which is the same in advanced ad blockers such as Ublock originals.

To protect your browsing, the brave upgrade connection in https by default. Even if you click on a non-safe link, it will try to connect to the encrypted version. This adds an additional layer of protection, especially when you are on public Wi-Fi or unfamiliar network.

Most importantly, the monitoring of the brave Google avoids the ecosystem. Unlike Chrome, it does not ping to google when you type in the address bar or open a new tab. Any hidden data funnel is quietly monitoring its activity in the background.

    Underlying tor mode

Sometimes, private browsing decreases. Maybe you are trying to reach limited material to your area or searching for something that you keep anonymous. For those moments when standard security is not sufficient, the brave contains a more advanced option operated by the Tor Network, which is correct in the browser.

Unlike regular private browsing, which only hides your activity from others using your device, the brave torre window makes your identity online. It routes your traffic through several encrypted layers before reaching that site. Your IP address is hidden, and your connection is protected from websites, internet providers and even network monitoring.

Opening a private window in brave with tor

There is no additional software to install and no complex setup is necessary. Open and choose the brave menu (hamburger icon) New private window with torIf you don’t see the option, go on setting , Privacy and security , Tor WindowsAnd togle it. Once capable, it will appear in the menu like any other browsing mode.

    Enable private windows with tor

Of course, the connection may slow down due to the additional layers of encryption, but it is a proper trade when privacy matters the most. It is especially useful for bypassing geo-related subjects, doing research on sensitive topics, or simply staying away from radar. And this level of oblivion built in browser is exactly the same which separates the brave.

    Faster and light by design

After switching on the brave, I wondered how light it felt. There is no interval, no dull, and there is nothing that is secretly eating memory in the background. Just fast, uninterrupted browsing right from the beginning.

Compared to Chrome, which is notorious for hog to Rama and overwork the CPU, keeps the brave things lighter and efficient. Even with many tabs open or playing media, it will not blur your fans. This runs silently without slowing down your system or drying its battery. This difference is particularly worth noting on the old laptop, where every performance is counted.

But it is not only about using less resources. Bahadur accelerated things by blocking advertisements, trackers and unnecessary scripts before loading. With all that junk, the websites load rapidly and feel very responsible. And it is not just on paper; When scrolling through the pages, you will see it when opening the tab or jumping between the sites.

Sync in equipment without an account

Most browser synchronize into an account, which usually has to hand over your data to your server. The brave leaves all and still keeps your equipment connected.

Instead of a normal sign-in process, you only scan a QR code or typed in a one-time sink code to link them. Bookmarks, browsing history, password, and open tabs are basically sinks in your phone, laptop and tablet. And since the data is encrypted before leaving your device, even the brave cannot see what you are sinking.

Start using sink in brave browser

To begin, head for head setting , Do , Start using sinkThen scan the QR code with your phone or manually type into the sink code. Just make sure that code behave like a password; If anyone else receives it, they can access your synseed data or even replace.

Start a new sink series in brave

You can also choose what to sink on each device, so your job will not mirror your smartphone. Once connected, everything remains automatically in the sink with zero efforts on your part.

Open source with native IPFS support

The brave is not only privacy-centric; It is also an open source. Its entire codebase is publicly available for inspection, audit or contribution to anyone. Unlike the shutdown browsers, where whatever you move behind the curtain, relying on it puts everything on the brave performance. Developers and security researchers can verify how it works, confirming that there are no hidden trackers, surprise data collections, or backdoor.

It comes with the underlying support for the Interplennary File System (IPFS), which is a decentralized method to store and access the online material. Instead of drawing data from a single server like most websites, the IPFS receives it from many colleagues with already a copy. Think of it like a torrenting: Instead of relying on a central source, you ask the entire network who has a file, and whatever node sends you.

Each piece of material on IPFS has a unique ish like a fingerprint. When you access a file by its hash, you get that exact version, unchanged and verified, no matter what. This makes IPFs more resistant to sensorship, takedown and outage. And if the data is already cashed nearby, it can load faster than traditional web pages.

With brave, nothing is extra to install. You can open IPFS links (which usually start with IPFS: //) like any other URL. Brave can solve them through a public gateway or if you are running one can connect directly to a local IPFS node. It is a small but powerful feature that fits perfectly with the mission of the brave to create a more open, transparent and user-controlled web.

Play YouTube in the background – no premium

YouTube usually stops playing when you leave the app or lock your screen until you are a premium customer. This is a disappointing limit, especially when you only want to hear while doing other things on your phone.

But if you are using brave on your phone, there is a way around it. This feature is not turned on by default, but once capable, the brave allows youtube video to play in the background, whether you switch the app or lock your phone.

To turn it on, go to the settings of the brave, scroll Display Khand, tap MediaAnd togle Enable background audio,

Once it turns on, play and continue with what you are doing. You can answer messages, do notes down, or even close your screen. The audio goes on without any interruption.

Bat rewards to see non-grace advertisements

Instead of flooding its screen with noise, disruptive advertisements, brave takes a cleaner approach. It shows small, privacy-friendly pop-ups, and if you choose to connect with them, you can earn bat (basic attention tokens) as a reward for your attention.

    Turn on the brave awards

You will not be tracked, your browsing history remains private, and you remain under control the whole time. You can also adjust how many advertisements you see per hour or can close them completely if you are not interested.

Over time, your bat earnings increases. You can use them to support your favorite websites or content creators directly via brave, or simply let them sit in your wallet; It is completely up to you.

These are the reasons that I am stuck with brave. This respects my privacy, rewards my attention, and simply seems better to use. After all of that in one place, everything else seems highly bloated.
