Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones are the best Android phones available today, thanks to their responsible and feature-rich software. But most of the Samsung phones-especially the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Z Flip 7 come with flagship-over-the-top features that you cannot use daily.
If your new Galaxy phone does not stay on any charge for the whole day, then there are ways to make whatever you have without obstructing the user experience.

Here are seven ways to maximize battery life on your Galaxy phone. Not FRET – I will not be clear the captain here and recommend using your phone at a low fresh rate. The recommendations of this list should improve quality life Whereas Maximizing the efficiency of your handset. read on.
1. Use dark mode
Most Samsung phones have AMOLED displays, which can control individual pixels. Therefore, when you use a dark theme or dark wallpaper, the part of the screen that needs to be black will not turn on those pixels. This, in turn, reduces screen power use and makes your battery a little longer.
How to do: Open the Setting App> Display. You will get two cards for light and darkness. Tap on the dark option. Alternatively, you can change the system wallpaper and continue using the light theme, but the same effect on the same battery will not have the same effect as turning on dark mode.
2. Togle on adaptive glow
This setting ideally becomes active out of the box, but some people close it because it is not always accurate. However, over the years, Samsung’s environment light sensor has improved quality. Your Galaxy phone can find the strength of the lighting in your environment to automatically adjust the screen luminosity. This ensures that your performance is more efficient and not brighter than necessary.

How to do: Go to Settings app> Togal to performance and adaptive luster. It should work in most environments, but if necessary, you can adjust the brightness with swipes below the quick settings panel.
3. Stop and force or uninstall power-draining apps
Samsung phones come with a lot of prefinted apps such as Facebook, Microsoft 365, Ondrive and a group of Samsung and Google apps. Identify people you do not need, and uninstall or force disable them so that they do not walk in the background.
For example, not all require Samsung Smart TV app or ONEDRIVE. When I installed a new Galaxy phone, I uninstall those two more, including Facebook, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Tutor, and more.
How to do: Tap and grab the app you want to uninstall. A pop-up menu will appear. Tap uninstall. As a result, none of these non-essential apps will use your battery.
4. Identify power-drawing apps
Some apps consume more power based on your location, 5G connectivity and background use. Samsung allows you to identify these power-hogging apps to help reduce non-essential battery use.
How to do: On your Galaxy smartphone, you can identify power-drawing apps by visiting the settings> battery and device care> battery> background uses and choosing which app you want to close.
5. Download offline content before traveling
If you take the same passage every day or hear the same playlist and podcast, then it is a good idea to download that material offline. Most streaming apps and Google Maps consume a lot of batteries on 5G and LTE. When outside, it can also heat your handset for touch. You can deal with the pre-plan: Download the map on your favorite music or Wi-Fi before leaving home.
Too: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was almost unusable to me – until I downloaded this one app
How to do: Go to the streaming apps you want to download the content and follow the in-app stages. For example, YouTube has a download button on the video, and Spotify lets you download the full playlist.
6. Use scheduled always performance
I like my Galaxy S25 Always on Ultra. It has an Ltpo display that goes up to 1Hz for efficiency, which is easy for features like AOD. If you have a midrange galaxy phone with a minimum refresh rate of 60Hz, using AOD may not be as efficient. However, when needed, you can schedule AOD and be smart with it.
Also: I bought Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025, but I would recommend this model instead
For example, I have determined it from 11 am to 7 pm, so I do not miss any important information and at a glance I have the necessary information at my disposal.
How to do: Go to Settings> Lock Screen and AOD> Always tap on performance> When to show> as Scheduled. When you are on it, turn off the show lock screen wallpaper within the AOD settings.
7. Use the display profile
Samsung allows you to choose a display profile according to your use. If you do not play games and use your phone mainly for browsing, calling and such as such, then you should choose the light display profile on the standard. This battery will prefer life and cool at processing speed.
How to do: Open the settings app and go to the device care> performance profile and select the light. This average phone is ideal for users.
What to do when my Galaxy phone is low on the battery?
The above seven settings will not interrupt your user experience and will maintain the best Galaxy phone features. However, if you are outside and your phone is low on the battery, then you need:
- Turn on power saving
- Togle data roaming
- Close location services
- Close aod completely

I recommend to turn these settings when your phone’s battery level is less than 15%, but you are still a few hours away from the charger. The above Samsung settings will also help you maximize the battery on your Galaxy phone.
