Google on Monday announced that it was launching a new feature that allows iOS users to switch to Chrome and easily switch between individual Google accounts. Previously, iOS users had to signed completely from the Google account and then log in with the other, and each time they had to repeat the process when they wanted to reach a separate account.
“Many of us use their mobile devices for both work and personal functions, often many Google accounts,” Google has written in a blog post. “This means to sign and sign out. Chrome is now providing support for managed account browsing that creates strict data separation from other browsing and spontaneous switching among the accounts.”
When users sign in or switch to their work Google account in Chrome, browsing related to their outfit will be kept separate from their other browsing on the device. Local data and materials including tabs, history and passwords, only stay within the browsing experience managed accounts. Google says that this end is ideal for both users and IT.
This update comes that Google says that many parties are moving away from the company’s phones, which means that employees often have to reach the company’s resources from their personal phones and computers. Google says better account switching experience and data separation “enables better businesses to allow employees to use equipment of their choice.”

For the first time users sign in or switch to a managed account, they will see an onboarding screen that explains the separation of the managed account browsing and how their organization is handling their data.
Organizations maintain control and can decide when a user initially signs or switchs to an managed account, how to handle existing browsing data. Once the users switch to their managed account, they are informed that they are entering a managed experience.
Google also announced that it included more advanced security facilities that IT departments can implement.
