Australian Crypto billionaire Tim Heath survived an attempt to kidnap the attacker’s index finger in Estonia last year, hearing by an Estonian court.
A long -time crypto investor Heath was attacked by two people as painters in the ladder of his apartment building in July last year. The number of crypto kidnapping has increased in 2025, forcing the authorities to protect.
One of the attackers, Azerbaijani National Allahvardi Allahvedev – a former boxer and wrestler – tried to silence Heath by placing his hand on his mouth, Sydney Morning Herald Informed On Wednesday, with citing a reference Estonian Media Outlet Eesi Ekspress.
The attackers conspired to force Heath in a van, but Heath bites through the index finger and managed to get rid of the sanctuary in his apartment, he was heard by an Estonian court.
Heath allegedly lost a tooth in a 30-second struggle. The attackers ran away shortly after, left the van nearby. A part of the finger was later found on the road at a distance of 100 meters from the scene of the attack.

The plot was in making months
A group of seven kidnappers allegedly stared at Heath under the leadership of the attack, using Sydney Morning Herald, both of them and using a GPS tracker on their vehicle.
The group allegedly entered Estonia using forged Georgian passports and spent days to buy painters uniform and other items from the hardware store in the days before the attack so that they could pose as those who work.
It has been alleged that the plan was to take Heath to a nearby rented sauna house and force him to transfer him to his crypto holdings. A hacker was also allegedly admitted for assistance.
Apart from Allahveradiev, Georgian citizen Ilgar Mamdov has also been arrested. Both men are on tests in Estonia. Two other people are wanted by the police, including the alleged organizer Najaf Najfali, while three have been identified so far.
The accused claims innocence
According to Sydney Morning Herald, Allahvedev told the court that he was promised 100,000 euros ($ 118,000) for kidnapping, but “pretended to do something” and later asked everyone to cancel the plan.
The prosecutors allege that Mamedov was a migration driver. However, he denies participation and claims that he came to Estonia from an accident while traveling in the region and he was involved in any allegation, a “lie” and “a construction”.
Danger can still go on
The prosecutors also claim that a few weeks after the failed abduction plot, Heath received a message through Telegram with his apartment photos and at that time there was a demand for 30 bitcoins (BTCs) priced about $ 3.3 million.

When Heath did not respond, the kidnappers did not make any more attempt to contact him, but the prosecutors argue that the danger may be.
Heath has allegedly spent more than $ 3.1 million on private security since the attack and transferred homes. His legal team is demanding their new security costs reimbursed by the accused kidnappers.
