Well-known digital asset investor Dan Tepario is merging private equity firm 10T holdings and 1roundtable partners under a new brand 50T, showing their forecasts that digital asset ecosystem will reach the market price of $ 50 trillion in the next decade.
“The 50 T2020 has a natural development from our original thesis when we launched 10T with the belief that the digital asset ecosystem would increase from $ 300 billion to 10 trillion dollars in 10 years,” Tepers said in a press release on Tuesday.
“Today, we guess that we are already on $ 5 trillion, which is more than our initial timeline, which is why we are adjusting our views upwards,” he said. “Recent successes such as circle IPOs and deribit acquisitions showcase the maturity of the region and validate our investment thesis that all values will eventually pursue the on-chain.”
The USDC StableCoin Issue Circle increased its starting price after the introduction of its stock market by about 10 times, while the Crypto Exchange Coinbase acquired the derabit at $ 2.9 billion in May.
The press release states that under 50 T, there were investors in Fund Circle, Derbit and Digital Trading Platform Atoro, who recently went public, and other portfolio companies are also moving towards going public.
The 50T is also dubbed 50T funds with $ 500 million growth equity funds.
It is a closed-end fund with a ten-year horizon, which is later designed to create a core infrastructure in blockchain and web3, with the first close plan in Q4 2025.
