A universal studio designer weighs if the dark universe can ever come to California Park.
One of the more complicated areas of the new Universal Epic Universe Park is a dark universe. Themed around the iconic universal demons, this space has attractions based on characters such as Frankstein and The Invidable Man. We talked to one of its prominent designers and asked if the fans would ever see this attraction in another place.
Frances, a production designer at Epic Universe, talked about his work in the dark universe. He told us how the ride of the previous Universal Studio affected the construction of demons, a new ride that uses a lot of animatronics and physical effects.
