Georgia -based American data analytics company, data broker legends lexyxis risk solutions, revealed that the attackers stole more than 364,000 individuals in December violations.
As mentioned in the data breech notification sent to the affected people starting on May 24, Lakesnaxis was informed on 1 April that some of its data were stolen from GITHUB by an unknown threat using an agreement company account.
“On April 1, 2025, we came to know that on December 25, 2024, an unauthorized third party acquired some LNRS data from the third-party platforms used for software development. The issue did not affect its network or system of LNRS,” said this.
Lexisnexis too exposure In a filing with the office of the Main Attorney General that the resulting data breech influenced 364,333 persons, who had individually revealed identified information.
However, it said that the violation only influenced their personal information, as the attackers did not access or stolen financial information.
“The types of individual information affected vary by the affected person, and may include the name, contact information (such as phone number, post or email address), social security number, driver’s license number or date of birth,” Lakesenxis said.
“No financial or credit card information was affected. We have no evidence that your data has been further misused.”
The company warned the affected individuals to monitor the credit report for their account statements and fraud and identity efforts, and will provide them with two years of free identity protection and credit monitoring services.
Lexisnexis is a subsidiary of Relx, a British multinational data analytics provider, and has customers in more than 180 countries and regions.
Data broker also has offices in 40 countries, working over 11,800 people worldwide, and Fortune works with 85% of 500 companies and 91% of Fortune 100, including nine of the top 10 banks in the world.
A laxisnexis spokesperson today did not immediately provide comments on the contact by BlappingCopper.
