Diablo 4 received a new update overnight, which gave a small, but effective change in the cost of masterwork in the game. More especially, the masterwork items in rank 1 through 4 will now be less expensive.
This change does not affect gold and obducite costs, however, it only reduces the number of basic materials required for each operation.

New patch, version 2.2.2, rolled out on all platforms on Tuesday. Snow storm Explained This does not want the players to avoid confusing with the masterwork as a result of their physical cost, which is why the change was made.
The cost of obducite and gold is usually not a problem in those early ranks, but trying many masterwork reset in a while will cause you to run out of the content quickly, despite enough obducite and sleeping to bear the roll.
The patch also disables directstage on the PC, a feature that allows the game to a sharp load time when installed on the NVME drive supported. DirectStorage may be responsible for some performance issues, so Blizard has disabled it while investigating. You can still enable it, if you should do it, you just have to add ‘-Nabeld’ as a launch command to Diablo 4 through the battletnet.

Somewhere else in the patch, there is a host of bug fixes that affects a wide range of different parts of the game. In particular, it addresses a lot of issues with the screen reader, since the launch of season 8, stopped reading some areas of UI – including the menu for the new Revolutionary Battle Pass System.
