JD Vance, vice -president of the United States, took a stage to deliver a main speech at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, encouraging bitcoins to deepen his participation in politics.
Vance highlighted the strategic and geopolitical importance of bitcoin, emphasizing that the US should maintain leadership in the Crypto industry to remain competitive at the age of digital finance. Vance told the audience:
“What happens in the world of politics, what happens in the bureaucracy world, if we do not take the right decision, the most transformative and valuable technologies will also affect. Firstly what I ask you is to take the pace of your political participation in 2024 and take it up to 2026 and beyond.”
The vice -president said, “Do not ignore politics because I guarantee you, my friends, politics is not going to ignore this community, now, and not in future,” the vice president continued.
Bitcoin continues to achieve institutional validity and is widely elevated into an asset class with macroeconomic and geopolitical significance. Market analysts and bitcoins advocate that the global race to acquire BTC is going on among sovereign powers.

Nation-state bitcoin adoption
Bitcoin maximalists and market analysts argue that high-stake game theory forces the nation-state-state to adopt BTC, as sovereign contestants as the negative or opportunity cost of not adopting rare digital assets as sovereign contestants.
Fear of this alleged nation-state fear (FOMO) was enmity by US President Donald Trump’s Pro-Crypto Rukh, including Bitcoin Strategic Reserve and the creation of a Crypto Advisory Council.
Regulatory changes in the United States inspired other governments to indicate a possible policy reset on cryptocurrency and bitcoin.
For example, the Government of India is rethinking its crypto policies in response to regulatory changes in the US. India’s Economic Affairs Secretary, Ajay Seth said that digital property does not care about boundaries.
