Most of us in Team NL, many of you, like Switch 2 are opening shiny new console today, after all. There is nothing like the smell of new hardware in the morning, right?
Saying that, when we are getting caught with the new console, some of us have seen a fragrance. Not an unpleasant, you understand, but a separate warm, electronic odor from the top vent of the console – as you can expect from a high -performance video gaming device being played for the first time.
Naturally, I asked around the office. Oli replied, “There is no dody smell from the mine.” “WTF Are you sniffing for your switch 2S?” Asked Alana.
To be clear, it is not a bad odor – it is just hot electronics. Clean and comfortable in a way. When I type notes in the laptop, the console is sitting on the desk, it was just noticeable.

After transferring the system, the new console is working hard to download all kinds of things in the background – I am assuming that the cause of warmth and smell, but rather than running a welcome tour, which I cannot imagine, is taxing too much on the system. It is very likely that all downloads are going to internal fans. This is uncomfortable warm or spicy or anything like that. This is just … worth noting!
