Gboard interface can be a lot. In addition to the keyboard, this small utility has a lot of features that are a complete adaptable toolbar at the top of the keyboard that helps you navigate. And such a maximalist interface also applies to emoji keyboard … or at least, it used to do it. Now, Google is finally doing something about it.
Google has begun to use a new beta to the emoji menu, which simplifies to use with more classified layouts. Gone is the old “all” screen that showed all your recently used emojis, customized emoji kitchen stickers, and GIF in a long, misleading list. And, with a little sign up, you can experience this new approach right now.
