In the last few years, the initial-phase micromobility has been transferred. The shepherds of e-scooter companies create chaos in the scale, along with those fat enterprise tests, now AI is flowing for startups.
The tight capital combined with an existing requirement to create a permanent trade model has produced a new crop of micromobility startups.
This week, I attended Micromobility Europe in Brussels, where I visited the so -called “Startup Arena” of the conference, to bring the early phase of Europe to the Micromobility ecosystem of Europe to the table. Many of the companies I talked to are trying to fill the gap of this industry – whether it is through fleet management software, parking or charging. Some, however, are only manufacturing vehicles they wanted to ride.
They all represent the next phase of the sometimes the micromobility industry to be developed.
Convoy

E-cargo bikes are often marketed as making parents’ lives easier, but most are heavy, heavy and expensive. Britain -based ConvoyWhich was installed in 2023, trying to overcome the obstacles with a clip-on cargo conversion kit for bikes and e-bikes that can carry two young children.
The team behind the convoy has a diverse background from Femtech and e-bike to the east-CEO of Dyson.
“We have worked together for 10 years, built the first hand-free weary -able breast pump,” Tatiana Escobar-Pick, Chief Revenue Officer of the convoy, told Techcrunch. “For a decade, we are paying attention to why life is so sad for the new parents?”
The attachment of the convoy easily accelerates the back of an existing bike, stores easily, and weighs only 26 pounds. It provides a 250-watt motor that converts the pedal bike into an e-bike, as well as the bend circle of the rear-wheel steering bike.
The convoy is launching a pre-order for the € 2,200 ($ 2,500) trailer next week. The startup has raised minor funds and got adequate demand from European distributors this year to start thinking about expanding in Japan and the US next year.
Azora in charge

A year and a half ago, brother and sister Duo Caroline and Johannes were founded by Gocker, Germany Azora in charge Solar-operated charging and parking stations for e-bikes are constructing. The Azora charge is not trying to meet the needs of the shared micromobility operators directly, who are regular e-bike owners, which can be safely charged and can be parked publicly.
“There are no such solutions,” Caroline Gockel told Techcrunch. “In London, for example, there is no way that I can park my bike somewhere and know it is safe. It is just going to be stolen.”
Azora’s major product, Azora arch, is a cover charging station that can fit inside a parking space. It has integrated five solar panels, four charging stations that can accommodate eight bikes, and advertise can be adapted. It is designed as a plug-and-play solution, suitable for various places such as parking garage and city roads.
Azora wants to sell these stations at a retail price of € 28,000 ($ 32,000) – or € 15,999 ($ 18,400), which does not have a cover for Azora flow – cities, apartment complexes, shopping centers and other businesses. They hope to raise € 250,000 through enterprise capital or friends and family, emphasizing the need for specialization in B2B distribution. A pilot program is ready to start in Heidelberg, Germany to test the viability of the first prototype.
Fleet
Fleet There is a European-based micromobility marketplace that buys, sells, and renews shared electric bikes and scooters. The company, established in the end of 2024, completes both new and established operators, offers help with supply chain, software management and batteries.
The client base of Flatsar includes hardware and new operators seeking cost -effective entry into the market.
“We are the right market to help someone who wants to start, or even a big operator who wants to expand there,” Alexi Stephen, managing partner in Flatsar, told Techcrunch.
The company operates remotely with warehouses in Romania and Netherlands. It has sold 6,000 bikes this year and is systematically scaling through market demand and word-off-mouth. Flatsar also provides logistics support to ride and distribute bikes, and was seen chatting with the founders of the Detroit-based Bloom-who wants to take all the hard, back-forth work for the e-bike startups-in the event.
Change
Italian startup Change Fleet plans and fleet for cities bringing AI and simulation to management and shared mobility operators – including a pilot with lime. The startup provides two main products: Urbiverse produces synthetic data and simulation for logistics and dynamics, while urban copylott provides real -time demand forecast, fleet ribbelling and operating adaptation.
Then is the AI agent that is capable of reaching all the devices of stakeholders from Slack to CRM app, “so that users can ask” cross-section questions “.
“So you can ask it to Somelaic, please send a notification on the slack every time that the fleet battery average level is below 40% in this neighborhood, you can ask for a report of my fleet status compared to public transport disruption,” Alesandro Sioola, the switch said.
Established in 2020, the company has Gather about $ 1 millionWith the European Institute of Technology.
Zap
ZapBosnia and Herjegovina provide a super app, food distribution, shared micromobility, package delivery, a car rent and taxi services. The Zapp was launched in 2020 and expanded to 10 cities in Bosnia – where Uber still does not have a major appearance – and plans to enter Croatia this year.
What is different about ZApp that it operates a franchise model, an idea that came from CEO CEO CEO Martin Micolic of Gaming Cafe Franchise Friendly Fire.
“In Balkan, there is not a lot of competition (from established players like Uber), and attention to our franchise is small town below 1 million people because the concept is to empower the locals, as the locals best know what the customer needs in that city,” Micolik said.
J2r

Jean Madoule was a business analyst for the video game industry, who wanted to buy an electric motorcycle, but found nothing on the market, which met traceability, repability and their needs of a quiet design.
A self-affected engineer, he started manufacturing a motorcycle in his garage until he is not now J2r Major models. J2R, which was established in 2022, named its first electric motorcycle Smol – in a node for its small size. SMOL has a sharp, radical design with a futuristic dirtbike style with a minimal appeal, extended by features such as exposed suspension.
“This is a toy, but for the city,” Madoule said. “Originally for people who are really urban and in road culture. I think that is why scatter marketing works for them. They feel that it is a drop of some super exclusion.”
The team launched a pre-cell campaign in September with a price tag of € 9,450 ($ 10,800). They plan to distribute 15 counting units in January 2026 by the end of the year and the end of 100 units. Smol is gathered in France, which are mainly accompanied by parts obtained from the European Union.
Trace mobility
As a former founder of the German bike-sharing operation Velocity Mobility, the Tobie mayor understands the pain points of the shared micromobility business. In April 2023 he returned with a new startup, Trace mobilityWhich provides commercial intelligence services for bikes and car-sharing operators.
Tres mobility provides a membership-based software service that tracks major matrix such as user registration, booking, vehicle usage and revenue. It also integrates publicly available data and provides an AI agent for customized insight and operational tips.
The company’s goal of the company is small operators who do not have their own booking platforms, but they rely on white label solutions, which draws data for trace customers to come up with their insight.
“Beneficiary is a major issue for all in business and to improve profitability, or to reach the first profitability, it is important to know the mechanism of your cost and revenue structure and how they are connected,” the Mayor said.
