Earlier this week, a major switch Rome site known as ‘NSW2U’ was seized by the FBI as part of the ‘law enforcement operation’.
Now, we have received an official statement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in which other sites have been seized. Here it is complete (through the official FBI website):
FBI Atlanta major video game seizes piracy websites
The FBI’s Atlanta Field Office today announced the seizure of several online criminal markets, offering the pirated versions of the popular video game.
In addition to the seizure, the FBI has destroyed the infrastructure of these websites.
For more than four years, websites included pirated copies of highly anticipated video game before their official release date or weeks.
Between 28 February, 2025, and 28 May, 2025, records indicate that the most used download service on these sites has been a total of 3.2 million downloads. These works resulted in an estimated loss of $ 170 million.
As part of the works announced today, the FBI has received the authority to seize the domains of several sites to include NSW2U.com, NSWDL.com, GAME-2U.com, BigNGAME.com, PS4PKG.com, PS4PKG.NET, and MgNetu.com. These domains hosted and facilitated pirated video games. Any person visiting these sites will now see a seizure banner that informs them that the domain has been confiscated by federal authorities.
The FBI would like to thank Dutch Fioid for his assistance in this investigation.
