Many working professionals and businesses around the world have discovered ways to adapt their workflows through the implementation of Chatgpt. On Wednesday, Openai announced several upgrade to the Chatgpt, more gearing towards the workflows of professionals. Two of those upgrades are connector and record mode. Both features provide greater access to your everyday tasks for additional assistance opportunities to the mats – even allows it to transfer your meetings.
Connectors
AI devices are only as helpful as they are provided. While Chatgpt is a powerful service that can help with writing, logic and more, it still requires a lot of explanation and reference so that it can get you the ideal answer. Connectors feature users try to fix that users are allowed to connect it to more equipment that catch your everyday data, such as your email or cloud storage provider.

Connectors’ feature is available in intensive research for all paid customers, including plus, pro, team, enterprise and EDU users, including Outlook, teams, Google Drives, Gmail and Layer. Organizations using Chatgpt, including team, enterprise and EDU customers, also get access to additional connectors including SharePoint, Dropbox and Box.
Deep research refers to Chatgpt AI agent that can conduct multi-step research for you by independently drawing a strong amount of information from the web and synthesizing those sources in a comprehensive report. In the demo, the user was able to select the below to select which source they wanted to include in the answer, and the report cited them.
MCP
Because this suit of connectors is the expander, but does not cover the case of every possible use, Openai is also allowing the workspace admins to manufacture their own custom deep research connectors using the model reference protocol (MCP) in beta. Model reference protocol (MCP) is an open standard, developed by anthropic, to basically and safely connect AI assistants and agents to the data system.
With this update, according to MCP Openai, the workspace will allow admins owned systems and other apps to connect with the offerings of Chatgpt. This will create an experience in which users can easily search and argue with their ownership systems, as well as web results and other connectors are already on stage. Beta is going to start on Wednesday only for teams, enterprise and Edu admins, and Pro users.
During the live stream, the company clarified that the user’s data would be safe, as the company never default on teams, enterprise and EDU data, including connected data. The place also has a series of other security measures. For example, users will only be able to access the given data clearly within their organization.
Anthropic on Tuesday created its equivalent, integration available to Cloud Pro users for $ 20 per month per month. Similarly, this service allows developers to manufacture MCP-non-approval applications using clouds and enables users to connect those applications to the cloud.
Record mode
A new record mode for team users on MACOS is also being rolled out. With this feature, Chatgpt can capture any meeting or voice note, can move it, identify key points and take follow -up action.
