- LG’s innovative performance is designed for motor vehicle use
- The company says that a demonstration and button can basically merge in one
- Technology is just a concept, but we can see it in cars soon
The argument around the physical button in modern vehicles continues to rage with some vocal areas (of course under the leadership of journalists), a decrease in the potentially distracted touchscreen and driving the local switch more easily when driving.
But LG may have come up with a complicated solution, as it is revealed Stretable motor vehicle performance Beyond the Sid Display Week in California – CES of the screen of the screen.
The company says its unique performance, which sees a curved touchscreen, miraculously comes into life with a physical dial and button, is designed to convert every interior space into a display … but one with a physical button manufactured in it.
There is information about the internal functioning of innovation, but LG claims that the performance can expand up to 50% by maintaining 100 PPIs (pixels per inch) and high resolution of full RGB color, which is equal to a standard monitor.
In a video demo (bottom), the company shows how a dial rises from the touchscreen surface when active, allows the user to increase or reduce volumes or other settings with a twist of the finger.

Similarly, one and two buttons exit the display under the main dial, which allows the user to navigate the menu screen more easily.
LG explains that a traditional motor vehicle fascia requires a separate automotive display and physical button, while it does not. However, this has ignored the fact that many vehicle manufacturers do to remove the physical button completely, anyway.
As a result, LG thinks that it is fulfilled with expansionable performance, the touching button, provides the best in the world that is “easy to operate even when driving”.
Along with the strateable display, South Korean tech giants show the world’s largest pillar-to-pillar 57-inch automotive display as well as 18-inch slide OLED displays, which can be rolled and hidden in the interior headliners of the vehicle.
Analysis: A touch lot

While LG’s display technique is powerful effective, looks like something straight from a foreign aircraft, it does not actually solve the issue of the driver’s distraction behind the wheel.
The beauty of the physical button is that they remain stable, are easy to find out and can work with the memory of the muscles alone like drivers, deny the need to take the eyes from the street.
LG’s performance suggests that the unit has to tap several times before the physical button appears, often through the very small and possibly quite low parts of the screen.
It is almost like a futuristic BMW Idrive System, but with the additional stages required to reveal the physical dial and button, which made the German marketing system so easy to use … although the new version has controversially sent buttons.
Although a stretchable display may not be the best solution for drivers, it may be an ultra-lexurius system for those traveled back-allows designers to clean and minimize the spaces, while offering a drama while the people living want to decide that they want to enjoy some Netflix on the 18-inch slidal OLED display that Is far away
