Update to Apple’s Visionos 26, the operating system power its mixed reality headset, produces on last year’s Apple Vision Pro spatial computer that mixes digital content with the physical world. In WWDC, Apple announced several updates for both consumer and enterprise customers, from new spatial widgets and materials to more realistic personality and more.
Apple’s widgets provide personal and useful information at a glance. With Visionos 26, they become spatial, which are integrated into your location. You can adapt widgets to size, color and depth, and keep them where you want.
The new widget involves a clock that you can decorate, the weather that is suited to the weather outside you, music for quick access to tunes, and photos that can turn into a panorama or “window in another location”.
Give depth to 2D images
An update of the visionos photo app uses a new AI algorithm that takes advantage of computational depth to create several approaches for your 2D photos, which brings images to life. Apple says that it would seem that you can “bend right and see around.”
Spatial browsing on safari can also make web browsing a more immersive experience. With some supported articles, spatial browsing can hide distractions and reveal inline photos that “scroll, as you scroll, come alive.” Developers can also add spatial browsing to their own app.

Apple released an AI avatar to represent you on a video call on Vision Pro as a beta feature last year. With Visionos 26, Apple says that the personality “represents you more really.”

Other Visionos 26 updates
Apple Vision Pro has more apple intelligence features. Visionos 26 supports new languages like French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish with support for English in Australia, Canada, India, Singapore and UK.
Users can now see “to scroll” using apps and websites just using their eyes. They can now unlock their iPhone while wearing Apple Vision Pro, even when wearing a headset, and Visionos supports calling calls from the iPhone so that you can accept calls from Apple Vision Pro.
