Last year, Google introduced Gemini’s ability to interact with PDF files, briefly introduced a long document into a digestible paragraph. Gemini now has some new tricks related to PDF, which are stored in the drive, which are just beyond a basic summary.

Google on Thursday introduced PDF summary cards for Gemini. When you open a PDF stored in the drive, the Gemini will summarize the content of the file and list the questions of the interview based on the next tasks such as “draft a sample offer” or “this re -beginning basis.” If you choose one of a pre -option, Gemini will open a side panel with your request.
Before this update, you had to ask manually for a summary, and Mithun’s help did not proceed.
“PDF summary cards save time by giving you the essence of your files,” Google said in a blog post,
I tested myself the feature with a heavy 120-page document related to a grant, which I am helping to apply for a local organization. Mithun condensed it in 500-word, eight-bollet point explanation, which made it easier to understand information and showed follow-up signs related to the purpose of the grant and covered it.

To use this feature, double-click on a PDF from your Google drive file list. The summary card will appear with the content of the file (like you usually see comments).
When Mithun initially launched in workspace, Google said, PDF was opened in a new browser seen in the drive so that you could still use Gemini on the side panel of the drive. Now, the default is to open a file in overlay preview for PDFS. If you still want PDFS opens in a new tab, you can update it Drive settings,
The update will be available for Business Standard Plus, Enterprise Standard Plus, Google AI Pro, and Ultra Subscribers, of which Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium Aid-on, or whoever has already purchased Gemini Business or Gemini Enterprise Ad-on.
