- The Google Gemini app has a new scheduled action facility to assign recurring functions.
- Gemini will automatically complete the tasks at the chosen time, similar to the convenience of chat functions.
- Upgrade is available only to pay Gemini Pro, Ultra and Eligible Workpiece users.
Google Mithun is being held a little more with a new feature for its mobile app called Scheduled Activities. As the name suggests, scheduled actions allow users to assign the chatbot to recurring functions that it will be automatically completed without real -time supervision.
Google first displayed this feature in this year’s I/O, which was picked by Mithun as a way to give some initiative. For Gemini, it is the idea that they become more active in helping users, rather than people need to ask questions or request people. Depending on the request, Gemini can regularly tell you about the summary of the news update, the summary of your latest email, or you can remind you to walk a little on whatever time you choose. As long as you are specific of time, Gemini will oblige and follow with your requests.
You can simply ask Gemini to do a recurring function, basically only a standard signal again. Every Friday evening, ask Mithun for the recommendations of the new book, and this is what you will get every week. Although there is a limit. You can set ten scheduled actions in only once. Once scheduled, all your upcoming tasks are worth viewing in the scheduled action tab under settings. You can edit, stop or cancel them from there.
Or at least you can pay. This feature is available on Gemini’s payment schemes, so you have to subscribe to AI Pro at $ 20 per month or AI Ultra at $ 250 per month. There will also be access to some Google field business and education schemes. This means that free-tear users will not be able to use scheduled tasks yet, but this type of characteristics are very much examples for normal release at a very fast pace. There is no official timeline to do this right now, but if you already pay, perhaps you can ask Mithun to tell you when it is.
Gemini Schedule Chat Fight
Google has always portrayed Gemini’s future as more than another chatbot, promising that it will become an agent that estimates and fulfills requests. Of course, it also seems to be chatting and matching the convenience of its own work, but there are some ways that are Gemini. The chatgpt work is overwhelming when working within the chatgpt and its respective apps, but it is almost universally not used as a Google ecosystem. Gmila, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Mithun and its scheduled work with everywhere are constructed on integration, and many people have already installed a digital house.
The widespread importance of both Chatgpt and Gemini, which pursue such a feature, is a change for active AI. Before you know that your AI can start helping you, you need help that the companies behind the AI model are very enamored, even if it is not everyone’s dream that the AI system is familiar with their lives. If you are worried about privacy, giving AI the key to your inbox and calendar and asking it to be creative, this is not a sales pitch that Google can believe.
Nevertheless, reliable, approximate tasks without continuous inspection are appealing to complete. He said, Scheduled action is only good as the infrastructure behind them. If the Google server is messed up, a missed prompt is possible and if you have given it to important duties you can be destructive. In i/O, Google showed an upcoming “agent mode”, designed to handle multi-step tasks such as the Booking Travel or Coordination Apartment Tour. Scheduled actions set the foundation for that plan, but Google must ensure that there are no cracks in that foundation.
