You can always rely on the playism to bring a wide variety of gaming experiences in the middle, and everything in the middle, and everything in the middle. The strange accessories of this publisher are particularly strange, the kind of eye catching eye you don’t really know what you are looking but want to get your hands exactly. This is the case with the glacier, a strange, mysterious, scary, action game that looks completely under water and is completely contrary to our own reality.
I first played the glacier in the Packs East, and it was difficult to say that it was difficult to wrap my head. This was largely because I had a ten -minute timer tick during the time in my hands, making me more aware of my cortisol level, which I was experiencing in the game. Fortunately it was not long when I went home that a demo appeared on the steam, offered more or less the same experience, but without a dumsde watch reminds me of my mortality. Brain chemistry is a cat of one thing.

The eye is about to hold the eye because of how real it is by jumping. Not only is it set under water, but you are under the control of a creature that looks nothing in real life. You are a human -shaped bird that is also made with dolphin parts, and it is difficult to come with a better description as strange. An dissatisfied voice is guiding you, you feed the breadcrumb of information about the danger of an existence, and how you are responsible for becoming prevalent against it as a warrior of Tui species.
In the demo you are getting accustomed to being accustomed to a large extent, as it is not working on the aircraft similar to other souls. You are under water, after all. To maneuver with speed and accuracy when you are working in every direction, something happens that becomes addicted, especially when you are doing something commanding that does not work like a human at first. But in the context of war, there are interesting twists and combinations of both familiar and otherwise both elements.

For example, heat is a factor. You attack with normal lights and heavy, but create heat over time with your talon use. Catching the attack button exposes heat for major damage that does not consume stamina. Imagine playing something like dark soles, but your weapon operates like Nero’s red queen in Cry 4 in Devil (to manually modify it). Not only does it add some heat to combat, but it is also an environmental device that breaks the obstacles. This is a good twist, especially if you are like me and get tired rapidly with the management of a stamina meter in action games. There is also a range attack that takes into account the pangser dragoon, and it is never a bad thing. Especially when you are fighting a giant shark.
Apart from war and movement, glacier also seems to be of vibes. It is a ghostly scary game, which uses the underlying discomfort of the unknown that comes with a deep depth of the sea to carry forward a deep mythology planned to this world. After those bread crumbs first it seems that it will dismiss an ambitious story, which includes a fictional ecosystem, which can only be a source of satisfaction. If reading about things like collosal squid on Wikipedia gives you a sense of both surprise and mild fear, and I can only describe myself here, the glacier is targeting that kind of energy. I dig it.

It is easy to say that “I am interested in watching more after playing a demo” and after writing it like this, but I mean it completely with the glacier. This mixture of undergrass cryptid discomfort, cool action gameplay and overall strangeness is found that gives you so little in the space of half an hour of demo that it is not impossible to feel conspiracy at any level. And just with a release window of “this year”, I can all, hopefully I will get another taste of the glacier that is still teasing.
Glacier has been coming to PC for some time in 2025, with a possible console release in the future. This preview is based on time with a game offered by the publisher in PAX East 2025, as well as with a demo available on the steam.
