Google on Monday announced an update to its Chrome web browser, which will offer AI-generated store reviews to American shopkeepers with the aim of helping determining the best places to shop. This feature, which will be available by clicking on an icon to the left side of the web address in the browser, will display a pop-up that informs consumers about the reputation of the store for things like product quality, shopping, pricing, customer service and returns.
This feature, which is currently available only in English, will create summary based on partners’ reviews, including marketwis, business insights, reputation.com, reseller ratings, scamdvises, Trustpilot, Turno, Yotpo, verified reviews. And other,
The facility will initially be available for chrome on desktop. On arrival for the comment, Google cannot confirm whether or when the AI summary will come on mobile devices.

Google says that the goal with summary is to provide a safe and more efficient shopping experience. However, this feature also helps Google better competition with other AI features rolled by retail giants Amazon, using new technology to summarize product ratings and reviews, help customers find clothes that fit, product recommendations and comparisons, and many.
