Google added a group of AI features of its productivity-centered Chromebook plus devices, including a screen-selection tool for search and text capture, a tool that explains complex text and notebooks.
The new screen-selection tool works similar to the “Circle to Search” feature in Chrome on Google lens and smartphone: Long-represom of the launcher button or use the screenshot tool to select what is on your screen, and Google will search for it immediately. The tool also lets you choose the lesson and quickly adds an event to the calendar.

Last year, Google has a new “Quick Insert” key pair for some Chromebook Plus model, which lets you trigger shortcuts. Users can now access Google’s AI image-generation facilities as well as AI-operated writing tools with this key.
Meanwhile, the new “simplified” feature allows you to use AI to explain, simplify or abbreviate any lesson you choose.
Google also gave all the new Chromebook Plus users one year membership for the Google AI Pro Plan, including access to the Gemini app; Video editing tool flow; Image-to-video creation tool whisk; Gemini, Docs and Gemini in Chrome; And 2TB storage. AI Pro Plan otherwise costs $ 240 per year.
With these features, Google is launching two special AI features for Lenovo’s new Chromebook Plus 14: one tab and document uses AI to recommend the organization, while the other allows users to edit images using gallery app to remove backgrounds or stickers.
Lenovo’s new Chromebook comes with an OLED touch screen and a hand-based MediaTek compane runs on the ultra chip. It comes in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, which cost $ 649 and $ 749 respectively.
