Google Announced On Friday that this tech giants’ AI-managed video-making equipment, extending editing experience for drive video with a new shortcut button for VIDS.
The new feature allows the workpiece users to begin a video editing using vids directly from the Google Drive Interface. Now, while previewing a video in the drive, the user will see a “open” button in the top right corner that opens the video in the VIDS app. The Vids will automatically launch a video file, allowing further editing such as trimming the clip or including music and text.
This new shortcut, which is active by default, suggests that the company is integrating the app more closely with Google’s workspace suite. Launched last year, VIDS aims to streamline video production, including the ability to generate video from basic text signals, automatically craft scripts, re -arranging video clips, add infections, and more.
It comes on the company’s heels that offer another Gemini AI feature For the field users in May, which allows them to use AI to summarize video files stored in Google Drive.
