Google has added a new feature to Mithun Mobile Apps, which makes it possible for users to play audio overview, which was first added to the notebook, and later brought to Mithun earlier this year. However, the functionality was such that when the Gemini app could upload a file to generate podcast-style audio conversations, the app did not support playing the said audio file. Users had to visit AI Chatbot’s website to play it. To fix this, Tech Giands has added an inline media player to the app.
First Moldy Up to 9to5google, the new feature is now available to all Gemini users globally, which includes free levels of platforms. Therefore, if the users now upload a file to generate an audio observation, they will see a new interactive media player pop up on the screen that will allow them to play the file.

As seen in the above image, the new media player brings the option of slowing down a demand bar, play/pose button, button and 10 seconds, as well as the option of slowing down or speeding the speech between 05x and 2x. Additionally, a download button allows users to download the file and play it locally through a third -party app.
In particular, with audio overview, Gemini can generate a podcast-style audio discussion between two AI hosts (a male and a woman). These hosts discuss the topic of conversation, add their reactions, and even provide additional information, which is probably sour from the Internet. Creating an audio observation may take up to five minutes based on the size of the file and length of the text.
The audio overview gained popularity last year when this feature first appeared in Google’s notebooklm. Since then, the company has expanded the features on the notebook app, the web on Gemini and the mobile apps, and there are rumors that the mountain view-based tech giants are also testing it for the AI overview in search.
