Under this initiative, the company will roll an essential update for all Pixel 6A devices to prevent the risk of battery overheating. Although it was known that eligible users can make free repairs in authorized service centers, now we have an idea of how much Tech veterans will introduce those trading in their Pixel 6A for a new model.

Google Pixel 6A allows owners to obtain a free battery replacement without any additional service charge under their battery performance program. Those who do not want to do so can opt for other support options like device trade-in. This makes them eligible for cash compensation or store credit on their priority basis.
Google repair and trade-in offer for affected pixel 6A devices
The company will offer an equivalent amount to the owners of the affected Pixel 6A (Rs 8,500) or in its local currency as cash. Alternatively, they can also opt for the Google Store Discount Code of $ 150 (about 12,800 rupees) that will lead to the next purchase of the pixel handset.
However, the final amount will be based on the daily exchange rate at the time of conversion according to Google. In addition, the availability of local currency for cash payment may be different.
To process the payment, the tech giants will use a third-party payment platform called Pyner, and the provider may require a collection of financial statements such as equivalent identity in other fields in compliance with social security numbers or financial rules in the US.
Google is Made a page To check the eligibility of the handset for owners of Pixel 6A. They are required to enter their email ID which is associated with the device with its IMEI number. You can also enter another email address that is not bound to Pixel 6A, when you are filling the form for a family or friend. However, the company said that “you may need to ask for more information”.
If considered eligible, the company will enable the Pixel 6A owners to move forward in repairing or making a trade-in claim.
