Google’s iOS app is getting a new “simplified” feature, which uses AI to understand complex or technical text on the web, which is easy to understand everyone, without leaving a web page.
The simplified Google has a quick refinement approach to the research, and uses Gemini to make the complex text more digestible without losing key details. Google says that its testing found that simplified text allowed users to better understand and maintain the original information.
By offering underlying facilities such as simplefy, Google hopes that people will remain within their ecosystem of equipment and services for help with complex themes rather than turning to popular third-party equipment like Openai’s Catgpt.
You can use simplified by selecting any text on the web page you are seen in the Google app and then tap the “Simplefi” icon that appears. Then a simple version of the text will appear to help you digest information and allow you to continue reading.

Google’s research blog shares an example of what this feature can look like. For example, you can come on a passage that reads: “The complex deformity of this condition includes destruction of lung parynciama, interstitial fibrosis, changes in the structure of lung immune cells, increase in the production of immunomodulatory factors, and the major remodeling of the hypotheture.”
The simplified text will then read: In this complex condition the lung tissue is damaged by harmony, a disease that damages the lungs in the lungs, and the wide scars of the lung tissue, called fibrosis. Immune cells change in the lungs, and the body makes more immunomodulatory factor, substances that control the immune system. Blood vessels in the lungs also change a lot. ,
Google says that the idea behind the feature is that it may be easy for people to understand the complex themes that they can come while trying to learn something new on the web.

Google said in a blog post, “Our goal requires models to exceed complex ideas without presenting errors or leaving key details.” “Re -written text should help the reader understand the challenging material without renouncing the integrity of basic information.”
