Digital calendar can be a wonderful way to keep work and personal life organized, but not more often, they are also easy to overcomplets. After years of refining systems and experimenting with various approaches, I finally discovered a way to take advantage of these devices for my benefit.

Separate personal and professional calendar
I like to keep my system clearly defined; The moment I allowed the boundaries to cross each other, I was overwhelmed quickly. My digital place is an important part of it, especially when it comes to my calendar.
The easiest way I have found to keep my digital calendar setup organized is a different individual and professional calendar. I put my personal calendar on my smartphone; For this, I just use the Apple calendar. This is my favorite app and sinks well with my apps.
On my computer, meanwhile, I use the Google Calendar. I mainly use this tool for my freelance work and to keep an eye on meetings. To help me function more effectively, I use many Google calendar hacks to increase productivity.
My iPad also has a Google calendar, but I sign in with a separate Google account. I use it mainly for my creative projects that are different from my professional work.

Coordinate important events for my calendar
The work of the administrator was always one thing that threw me more tracks than anything. I was constantly hating to feel that I had to water the system and add my events manually, resulting in me to use the digital calendar for a long time. Now, however, automated most of this process is much easier than ever.
In addition to AI-operated calendar apps such as motion, Siri’s suggestions make it easier to sync events in the Apple calendar. Siri sinks with most of my apps, such as I use for my gym, to find and connect important things in my calendar. I can also see possible events to connect with my inboxes.
Google calendar can also sync events with Gmail. I ever take advantage of this most, but not as much with my personal Apple calendar account. If necessary, it is also possible to prevent Gmail from creating unwanted Google calendar events.

Change the calendar view suit my priorities
While I have made some harsh changes in my digital calendar setup to stay organized, some biggest differences have come from small twics. For example, changing my calendar ideas to suit my preferences is a direct way to better organize my day-to-day life.
In the Google calendar, I like to see my entire week scene. Since I use the app on a broad screen, this scene allows me to understand my tasks better and does not even feel overwhelmed. Doing this helps me plan more effectively for the next day.
On my smartphone, meanwhile, I use the daily view instead. I do not like to see the whole week on a small screen because it sounds very disorganized. To ensure that I always know what is coming next, I also installed a widget where I can watch my next program.

Blocking my biggest tasks only from time to time
Despite trying for a while, time-furious does not work for me when I underline my whole day. However, some guidance is intelligent. When I keep the two-do list, I have found that from time to time I can also help my biggest tasks.
This strategy works particularly well when I do time-block recurring functions. For example, I sit at almost the same time each day to do my deep work. I can forget about scheduling tasks otherwise, such as pitching work, also helps.
I use this form of light time-furious for my professional work compared to individual projects.

Reduce the number of calendar I created
While I have many calendar apps, my purpose is to remove the disorder as much as possible from them. As part of it, I reduce the number of calendars I created. While I can see birthdays, holidays and subjects, I am in sight, but I will not see everything at once.
Instead of ticking everything, I only check the box next to the calendar I am currently interested. If I am interested in seeing something else later, I can briefly tick it and then make it unnatural once again, when I have collected the necessary information.

Customize the events I see
Apart from customizing your calendar, I also choose events I want to see. As soon as something is relevant to me, I will remove all events – both past and future – to get them out of the way from my calendar.
If I wanted to keep those events for reference, I could mark them as darker in the Google calendar to clearly separate from others. In addition, I reject the show, so the boxes of events are rejected so that they do not disorgan my location.
Digital calendar is a powerful way of staying organized, but needs to be carefully considered for the construction of a system to use how to use them. I deliberately chose different accounts for my personal and business calendar, as well as automated features such as syncing events. This setup has done a good job for me so far.
