- Watchos is expected to be declared on 26 Monday
- It should walk on every watches 11-compatible watch
- A major view is one of the overhaul rumored changes
The best apple watches are in a new software update to the way, and we have just found the word which models are going to be compatible with the new Watches 26 (which is clearly the new name for Watches 12).
According to a source “with a proven track record” in contact MarastersEvery watch that is capable of running Watches 11 is also going to be able to run Watches 26, so there will be no device this year that is left behind this year.
This means that Apple Smartwatches Apple Watch Series 6 (launched in 2020) and Apple Watch SE 2 (launched in 2022) are going to be eligible for new updates back, as well as all watches have been launched.
If you miss back last year, after the announcement of Watches 11, we heard from Apple that series 5, series 4 and original SE will not get 2024 updates. This time, all currently supported equipment is included.
What’s on the way?
Apple has officially not officially said anything about Watus 26 – it is not even whether it is on the way or it is a rebranding – but we have heard a lot of rumors about what we can bring with upcoming software updates.
As mentioned in the same macromors article, a prediction is that Watchos 26 is going to support for third-party shortcuts at the Watch Control Center for the first time, meaning a better experience for users.
A new and better visual interface is also clearly on the way, which will follow the leadership of visionos with a lot of transparency and frost -selled glass effects. In fact, the same redesign is asked to come for all software platforms of Apple.
We are also expecting that we can get a smattering of Apple Intelligence on Apple Watch. All these new features are to be declared in WWDC 2025 on Monday, before this September Watchos 26 was released with Apple Watch 11.
